A Beginner’s Guide To Keeping Your Heart

The lilies are the flowers, the bright and beautiful. Because they stand tall, they reach the sky. They live in my heart as a reminder of how much I’ve grown. I don’t need to worry about risks and dangers, for I am the master of my own life. I will be in control soon. I will be the one who makes all of my decisions. I will do so without fail. It is time to watch and see as time goes by. I will have to remember the person I once was.
The person who felt like he couldn’t control anything, but was actually in control of everything. And now, it is time to move on and beyond. Don’t forget your roots, and don’t forget the past. Because you need the past to keep you grounded in reality. You need to remember your roots because it’s what makes you who you are today.
It is now time for me to go, but I will be back someday. I will be back as the person I currently am. The person who is a master of his own life and has control over everything that happens in it. I hope years from now. I can look back on this moment and be proud of who I was and who I am. This is all for now, but more will come.
For the record, I’m sorry if this inspired anyone to write a poem. Imagine that all the poems in this publication get published in the real world at a bookstore, and I am the only one there reading them, and several people come up to me complaining that they wrote their poem and it is not published in The Power of Poetry.

Growing up can be hard. Because when you’re young, you always think you are in control of your own life. Because the logical side of your brain grows as you grow older, and the ability to predict and infer comes into effect. But it is always there and waiting for you. Watching over and making decisions for you as a child is not easy for anyone to do, including parents. But it is the life of a grown-up.

And the sooner you learn that the more you can enjoy the small things in life. Leaving child’s play behind and being an adult is not a bad thing. It just means that you are ready to move on and take on bigger challenges in life. The risks and dangers to come are big and scary, but remember, You’re not alone!
Sometimes it takes people years to understand this verse, and I want to be there when they do.
