Thee Quest-Movie Review-Humanity
A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood
You were once a child, too, once upon a time
Don’t you just love true stories? Wanting to express my feelings, as I watch and listen to an incredible movie.
Writers must feel incredibly privileged to write stories influencing people’s lives. Having stories that they've written, created into a movie, must be very special!

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood, based on “Can You Say…Hero?” By Tom Junod.
I have given you the link to the piece written by Tom Junod. I would love you to see the movie in a theatre, as I did, before reading the author’s essay, in Esquire.
This article was originally published in the November 1998 issue.
You Were A Child Once, Too, Once upon a time… is a theme that continually rings in my ears.
Look at his eyes, follow them, enjoy the moments.

Watch Mr. Rodgers’s eyes closely. Can you see yourself drifting? Be aware of your emotions. Keep focused, on the actor’s movements, sense the chills running down your spine.
Let your imagination run wild and see yourself becoming a kid again!
We were all children once. Listen to the story, go back to when you were a child. Wrap yourself in a soft blanket, feel the warmth of your mother’s caress, return to a safe place you use to be, or, wished you would have been.
Things have changed since the ‘60s.
Life has changed so much, that we often forget that we want our kids to be adults, years before they should be. Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood started on Feb. 19th, 1968, and ended on Aug. 31st, 2001. My kids were born during this time.
A whole generation seems to have been lost in time.
Where does this film take me?
The film took me into another dimension, captivated by the story, ignoring the spectators, my wife sitting beside me.
This story is so personal that I cried silent tears. The actors leading me, bringing me back to memories of my childhood.
As a writer, I would love to see myself reading the script, not being able to put it down. If you are a writer that loves to dwell deep inside yourself, bringing back memories that stories are made of, you will love this part of American History. It will live on for generations to come.
Sitting in a movie theatre, total darkness, music silently, yes, filtering into my old ears made me remember many parts of my childhood, good and bad.
“Would you just take 10 seconds along with me, to think about the people that have helped you become who you are. Those who have cared about you, who wanted what was best for you in life. 10 seconds of silence, I’ll watch the time.” Mr. Fred Rogers
Your movie experience is yours, and yours alone.
What you can do to enjoy the experience?
Before you start listening, and wanting to climb into the story, relax, rest your shoulders deep inside that chair and take a deep breath. You will be taken into a place you may have forgotten.
Some of you might need to view this film as a classic Historical movie, and it might just be someday. It is a film for all ages, giving us all a different perspective about life and all its facets.
Enjoy a great masterpiece for the Human Soul.
This movie review is not intended to tell you the story. It is more about emotions and feelings. Living the experience first hand.
Thee Quest is all about feelings and emotions. I feel we all have a great need to share much more than stories, we need to tell others how we feel and what to expect from an emotional point of view.
Bring your family, and share the experience with them. Talk about it, discuss how you feel. Doing it live, right after a movie experience, is what I want to share with you.
You will feel alone, during the moments you view the film, but you carry all your emotions and feelings in your heart when you leave your seats at the end.
That is why many of us just sit, watch the credits, and ponder about what we just witnessed. You will never forget it.Thank you Mr rodgers!
Enjoy the movie, look it up on your phone or another device.
