A Bad Way Of Dealing With Mental Health (According To What Is Normally Written)

Getting lost in your head

The dark mornings and dark nights blend. The snap of the cold never seems to get old. No matter how prepared you are, it catches you off guard.

You can’t lighten your mood. Not even for your children. You feel overwhelmed and too responsible.

You write just to put your weakness down on paper. Not to create or to achieve, just to prevent expressing the emotion elsewhere.

Why?

Depicting a strong front is necessary. It’s necessary to retain balance in the mental health of your family, to maintain momentum amongst the staff in the workplace.

What would happen if you just stopped and curled up? Didn’t get up for work, didn’t do your bit for the kids or the odds and ends at home? How long before all you love would fall apart?

I never wish to find out.

So press on. Put your mental health behind you. It’s not priority. It’s everyone else first. You are too responsible. Too many people rely on you.

You can do this. Support now, self indulge later.

Being honest, this works for me. I’m much better than I was a week ago but having people around you also helps to assist. My wife is keen to resolve such an issue and is the best support I could ask for.
