9 Tips on How To Access Your Inner Genius

Tips from the Serving Circle

In my life journey, I love to speak with peers about what they are up to? This is how I learn, gain wisdom, and makes the journey that much easier. I do this in my business and personal life. With this in mind, I have always sought out or embraced coaching and:

· Support groups,

· collaboration.

· mentoring

· …And mastermind groups

A favorite free support group I am in is called the Serving Circle. I attend their ZOOM meeting every Tuesday from 7–8:30 PM (EST). It’s usually attended by about 25 great heart-felt people, all looking to make a difference in the world and become more prosperous in body, mind, and spirit.

The founder and leader of the group is a young Aussie named Tyson Sharpe

Tyson is an inspired motivator and a great leader. I go to the group to promote my FREE 7-Module Ask Lewis Mentoring Method. I’m grateful for all the success I have had in my life and continue to have. Offering this mentoring program is my way of giving back.

I receive a weekly email from Tyson (I assume, that he sends it to everyone in the group). Many have useful business or personal growth tips. I got one today on how to tap into your “Genius Zone”.

It’s a great article.

The article doesn’t sell anything. Just great solid conscious business wisdom. I hope you enjoy it.

Here is what Tyson sent me…

I have been receiving amazing feedback from the email I created where I shared some insights from the book ‘The Big Leap’ by Gay Hendricks.

So much so that I have decided to listen to the follow up book ‘The Genius Zone’, from the same author and pass on more wisdom. Thanks to Ken Caputo for the recommendation!

Your Genius Zone is where you are doing the thing you most love to do, while also giving your unique gift to the world. What is that for you?

As a spiritual business owner, it should be a conscious priority to spend more and more time in this zone and let the magic unfold.

Below are 9 Key takeaways from Gay Hendricks on how to live more from this place find yourself living a life you are proud of.

1) Commit to accepting and letting go of negative thoughts

Make a commitment to yourself that your negative thoughts will not run your life. Be mindful to notice when you are operating from negative thoughts. Instead of trying to change, fix, or eliminate them, accept they are a part of your life and just let them be. Once you do this, their power over you diminishes.

2) Perform the “Genius Move” When You Start Thinking About Things You Can’t Control

Hendricks believes that anytime you are unhappy it’s because you are focusing on things outside your control. Take the time to notice your unhappiness, ponder where you may be trying to change something outside of your control, acknowledge it’s out of your control so you can let it go, and focus on doing something positive it’s within your control.

3) Use Your Breath to Tune in to Your Emotions

The breath is one of the rare processes that’s both within your conscious control and also connected to the automated nervous system. This makes it a powerful link to your unconscious mind. Use your breath deeply to be aware of, harness, and process your emotions.

4) Commit to Communicating Honestly and Thoughtfully

Would you rather surround yourself with people that tell you just what you want to hear, or those who would tell you the truth, even if it was challenging? If you chose the latter, then be that gift in others lives by sharing honestly from your heart.

5) Stop Leaving Tasks Incomplete

Do you have tasks or conversations that are up in the air and left incomplete? How does that feel in your body? You are not alone if you feel heavy with overwhelm, guilt, or shame. Make it a priority to finish what you start and also bring conversations to a close by sharing everything that needs to be said for you to feel light and complete.

6) Ask Open-Ended Questions

Ask yourself resourceful questions that let your mind ponder in the realm of infinite possibility. An example would be: How can I live more in my zone of genius today and have more fun doing it?

7) Cultivate Relationships with People Who Support Your Creativity

Invite and cherish those in your life who support and believe in your zone of genius. Whatever your unique gift is to give to the world, you deserve a support network of people who celebrate who you are and want to see you thrive.

8) Appreciate and Cultivate Your Creativity

How often do you give thanks for your inner creativity? When you treat this gift like your inner superpower, it will show up for you in more expansive ways. Take some time to appreciate the beauty that is your inner creativity.

9) Commit to Spending a Specific Percentage of Your Time in the Genius Zone

Living in your zone of genius takes conscious effort and commitment. Delegate a percentage of your time doing what lights you up and gives your unique gift to the world. Continue to challenge yourself by pushing this percentage higher and higher.

Life is too short not to live the way you want to. Implement these takeaways in your life and encourage those around you to do the same.

I hope this has helped.

PS.

As always if you want to get on more stages, organize service exchanges, and form collaboration partners that can take you to the next level, I will see you on the next collaboration call.
