The article encourages creators to check out these creator programs and not leave these opportunities on the table.
Creator programs are the name of the game in 2022. They started getting more recognition in 2019 and 2020 but creator programs or incubators have been in play for a while already.
What are creator programs?
Programs that give back to the creator community, awarding recipients cash, consulting, feedback, access to tools, resources, and people to make them a better creator.
It’s a really cool opportunity to level up your skills, kind of like a college internship but usually entirely online, for a shorter time period, and with some cool perks attached!
Here are 8 of them you should look out for in 2022.

Bookmark this for later, you’ll want to remember these!
1. Twitter Spaces Spark
Twitter
I learned about the Twitter Spaces Spark program from a Tik Tok video of a creator getting awarded a spot in this program.
What to Know?
3-month accelerator
$2,500/month for 3 months
Financial, technical, and marketing support provided
Emerging, passionate creators who are interested in creating ongoing programs on Twitter Spaces
Monthly ad credits to promote your Space
Custom Spaces swag
You’ll also get perks like early access to Twitter updates, the opportunity to connect with other Twitter Spaces creators, a chance to virtually connect with Twitter product leadership, and more.
The previous round has closed but it will be reopening in early 2022.
If you snag a top spot for most viewed video, Snapchat will contact you and it usually takes 2–3 months to get paid from first notification to money hitting your bank account, according to other creators who have been paid.
I tried making Snapchat videos for 3 months. Here’s how it went for me…
The amount you earn is small but it’s passive income, available for deposit to you every month.
In total, I’ve made around $275 from the program and I’ve had millions of views on my videos.
SaraFinance, a big creator in the finance niche with over 700K followers recently revealed she’s earned around $3,000 from the Tik Tok Creator Fund and she’s had many millions (maybe billions) of views.
She actually compared the Tik Tok Creator Fund which has paid her around $3K total to YouTube which pays her up to $1,700 per day!
To apply, just head to your Tik Tok account and go to your Creator Tools where you’ll see the Creator Fund. When you click into it, it’ll show you if you’ve met all the requirements and if you’d like to apply.
6. Kapwing Creator Fund
This one is also closed but hopefully it will reopen in the future. They ran it in 2020 and 2021 so far.
Funded by their YouTube channel
They encourage your to visit them on YouTube to learn about when the fund will reopen
Little was shared about the program on this page since it’s closed but they do share that they have paid out tens of thousands of creators.
For the program to be less than 2 years old and award that many individuals, it make me think that maybe everybody who applies gets a piece of the pie or maybe the minimum requirements are within reach for many people. Who knows?
I think it’s worth keeping an eye out for this one. It sounds interesting.
7. YouTube Shorts Fund
YouTube Blog
YouTube Shorts is YouTube’s new short form video program. It’s vertical video that has the same feel has Tik Tok videos.
The YouTube Shorts Fund is a $100 million dollar program awarding top creators money, between $100 to $10,000 every month.
I’ve seen creators that have gotten a million views from Shorts Videos make around $40 to $100, which is comparable to the payout from the Tik Tok Creator Fund.
There are requirements to be eligible to make money from the YouTube Shorts Fund which include things like:
Must be 13 years old or older
Must have at least one YouTube Shorts video in the last 180 days
This one sounds really cool and I’ll keep applying to it as often as the opportunity arises in the future.
Don’t leave these opportunities on the table
If you are a content creator, influencer or creative, check out these creator programs. These are some really cool opportunities to learn, network, connect with mentors and experts, and make money. Don’t pass this up.
