8 Investing in Yourself

You can do most things for free.

1. Health 🩺

Without health, there is no use of money from money, and not earning finances while you are sick is unlikely to work. Therefore, the first thing you need to invest in is your health. And not only physical, but also mental. You should not spare neither money nor time for prevention: on healthy eating, on sports, on proper rest, etc.

2. Rest 💤

Separately it is worth highlighting the rest, it is the right rest. People often neglect it. Proper rest is when you really rest both physically, mentally and psychologically. That is, watching TV and spending time on social networks is not rest. Your body may be resting at that moment, but your brain is still working and analyzing incoming information.

You don’t even have to spend money here, you just need some of your time. A great rest will be meditation, a simple walk in nature, maybe going for a massage or other relaxing procedures. In short, anything that will help to completely relax your body and brain.

3. Training 🧑🏻‍🎓

A great investment in yourself is learning. Even basic reading of books will broaden your horizons, teach you to express your thoughts better, and pump up the right skills, if you put them into practice.

4. Skills 💡

Developing job skills can increase your income, give you a promotion or help you start your own business. But this includes all skills that help you become a better person.

5. Planning 🗓️

If you often don’t have time to do all your chores, are perpetually late and let people down, it’s worth investing in your planning. It may be enough for you to spend a little time doing it. But if it doesn’t help, you could take a course in planning or read a book on time management.

6. Self-evaluation ⚖️

An item you can’t do without, just as you can’t do without health. Low self-esteem very much limits our opportunities. So it is definitely worth spending time and money into your self-esteem and boosting your confidence. Even just taking care of yourself can have a positive effect. But it won’t help much if you don’t sort yourself out and understand the reasons for such self-esteem.

7. Foreign languages 📚

If you do not know English and think that you do not need it, then you are very wrong. It opens up great opportunities. English is spoken by almost a billion people. It’s a great chance to enter a new market, meet new people from different cultures and travel to almost every corner of the planet. And it is not necessary to go to different courses or go to university. It is quite enough to study 15 minutes a day and practice communicating.

8. Interests and emotions 🎨

All the other points are of course important and necessary, but without interests and emotion, life becomes gray and boring. And who wants to live such a life? I think no one. But still most people spend their lives in the “work-home” mode, without removing attention to their interests and new sensations. This can include any hobby, traveling, any new experiences and things you’ve never done.

By investing in all 8 points, your life will be many times better. Excellent health, good income, self-love, interesting life. I think many people dream of such a life. And you have the opportunity to make your life like that. The way you want it to be. All that’s left is to take the first step.
