8 days left in February. Can I make the elusive $100 this month?

This is what it will take to make it happen.

Ah! That ever elusive and magical amount that is uttered quietly in back alleys and underground speakeasies amongst writers of all types…

“I heard there’s folks making $100 a month on Medium”

Ha! That’ll be the day says another.. I had 27 reads on my story, made $.02 and another story had 6 reads and made $.17 so who can figure it… but $100 bucks???

Fuhgeddaboutit!!!!

Yeah mister, just who the hell you think you are spouting off numbers like that?

I’m an optimist. And I believe I’ll do it. Or get darn close!

To do that let’s look at what I made and compare it to my reads and views.

Now I am not Bin Jiang who can solve long equations in his sleep, but I’ll give it my best.

So $54.05 divided by the 460 reads gives me $0.1175 or roughly $0.12 a read. Therefore I need another $45.95 which means I need about 384 more reads to reach the milestone of $100 in a month. Hmmmmmm… 🤨🤨

I’ll be honest, that’s going to be tough. But hey, what’s the sense in having a goal to reach if it’s going to be easy to hit?

We will see. In the meantime, I’ll just keep writing. And checking my stats several times a day..lol..
