Summary

The website provides guidelines for writers submitting to "Short. Sweet. Valuable." and "Long. Sweet. Valuable." publications, emphasizing the one-story-at-a-time submission rule and the consequences of submitting multiple stories simultaneously.

Abstract

The content serves as an important notice to writers contributing to the "Short. Sweet. Valuable." (SSV) and "Long. Sweet. Valuable." (LSV) publications on Medium. It highlights a key rule that writers must adhere to: only one story can be submitted at a time, and subsequent stories should be held until the first is reviewed and approved. The publications experience a high volume of submissions, and to manage this, they enforce a strict policy where multiple submissions from a single author will result in all but one being rejected without review. The article encourages patience and suggests that writers utilize the waiting period to review and correct potential mistakes in their stories, offering links to additional guides on formatting and image usage. The editor expresses a commitment to processing submissions promptly and invites writers to reach out with any questions, indicating a willingness to update the article as needed to clarify the submission process.

I’m an editor in Short. Sweet. Valuable. and Long. Sweet. Valuable. and it would be a huge favor if you would read this before submitting your stories to those pubs!

Dear writers,

❗❗❗ We have a rule here. Once you add one of your stories to publication (SSV or LSV) you have to wait while it is approved and only after that you can submit another one.

That’s it, simple as that. ;)

Every day we add new writers to our pubs who are just starting their journey on Medium, and we are happy to have a really active community here.

Sometimes, writers become excited and submit 3,5 or even 10 stories all at once.

👉 What do we do if we get too many stories from one author?

We only accept one, others will be rejected without review. You will only get the note that it was too many submissions of yours.

🤔 Can you submit those stories later?

Yes! As long as you are following our one-story rule.

We are trying to do our best not to keep you waiting for long! ⌛

✅ But while you wait you can check my other stories. Maybe you are missing something. You can use this time to correct any possible mistakes in your stories:

If you have any questions please leave a comment, I will update this story if needed.

xoxo Justina
