A Father’s Care
When our memories fade, our hearts step in.
A Father’s Care
Wiping a freshly fallen tear, Kissing a scraped knee, Lending a supportive ear.
From a Father, this talent is blessed. To his loved ones, he gives his best.
He offers his hand when I falter, He is my strength and will not leave me, His Faith displays the Life I’m called for.
When our thoughts become a puzzle, Our hearts will mend that struggle.
When God calls us to our Eternal home, My Heavenly Father greets me, No more days on this Earth do I need to roam.
To my Dad, I’ll meet you there. No more tears. That is my prayer.
