7 Ways To Stay Motivated as a Newbie Blogger
I hope these seven ways help you stay motivated throughout your blogging journey

When you’re first starting out as a blogger, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and lose motivation. Trust me, I’ve been there!
I’ve been blogging for over two years now, and there are still days when I find it hard to stay motivated.
Days when I look at some of my blog posts and see low views to no comments.
Days when I procrastinate and avoid my blog like a plague.
And days when I’m ready to give up my blog entirely.
Blogging is a lot of work, especially for those of us who aren’t established in the blogosphere.
There’s so much to learn and latest trends to keep up with.
While trying to solve all the chaos, I found 7 ways that have been helping me stay motivated when things get tough — they might help you too.
7 Ways To Stay Motivated as a Newbie Blogger
1. Write without pressure
Ignore the pressure to be perfect, the urge to only write the perfect blog post, or the pressure to always be on top of your blogging game.
Just write.
Let the words flow out of you and onto the page.
“You can always edit a bad page. You can’t edit a blank page.” — Jodi Picoult
2. Think about your why
Why did you decide to become a blogger in the first place?
Is it for money?
Fame?
Inspiration?
Sometimes the best way to motivate yourself is by reminding yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing.
3. Connect with other bloggers who share the same interests
When you see someone else doing what you’re trying to do, it can be motivating.
Try reaching out to them and building relationships by reading and commenting on their posts or linking back to their posts.
Bloggers in your niche can relate to your struggles and can be a source of support and motivation when you’re feeling down.
4. Keep realistic expectations
Set your goals, aim high, but keep realistic expectations.
Some months will not be as successful as others. Your well-written post will take time to rank high in search engines.
Traffic will fluctuate. And you’re going to have to be patient, keep your head up, and keep going.
5. Don’t compare yourself with other bloggers
It’s easy to feel like you’re not good enough when you compare yourself to other bloggers who seem to have it all together. But the truth is, everyone starts somewhere.
Instead of comparing yourself to others, concentrate on your own journey, who you are serving through blogging, and your progress.
6. Celebrate small wins
Celebrate when you get a new follower, when you get a new subscriber, when you get a new like, when you get a new comment on your blog, and so on.
Celebrating small wins will always keep you motivated and going.
7. Take breaks when you need them
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or exhausted, take a step back and take a break.
Step away from your computer and take a walk, read a book, or catch up with your friends; you’ll come back feeling refreshed and motivated to blog.
Conclusion
The initial blogging phase requires a lot of patience and a positive attitude.
It won’t be easy, and there’ll be a lot of low and high moments, but it’s all part of the process of becoming the pro blogger you have set out to be.
I hope these seven ways help you stay motivated throughout your blogging journey.
