As time passes, we experience various ups and downs, low and high time. During these low times, we have to encourage, boost you to face the tough situation. It is very much important to motivate yourself but the question arises, how? Is it possible that we can motivate yourself or we need external support for the same? Sometimes, it becomes important to consult with a psychiatrist or Psychologist for the same.

Friends, in this article I will share some of the best methods to motivate yourself. Let’s start the count:

Figure Out ‘WHY’

You need to be clear, why you want to get fit? Get a concrete list of things that you want, like sleeping better, limiting junk food, early wake-up. You may ask me, what is the use of making a note of these? These will help you to track your progress and stay motivated. Avoid aiming abstract goal like “I want to be healthy.” Aiming such goals will nowhere help you to measure your performance.

I think by reading the heading ‘Create a list of things that makes you smile’ sounds weird to you, isn’t it? Making a list of things that makes you smile is the best solution to create a good happy moment for you. For say, you had a special memory with your childhood friends or siblings etc or the best day of your life or something else. Now whenever you are sad or feel demotivated, just check down this list of wonders. A flashback of happy moments will bring a smile on your face and you will be self-motivated.

Keep Your Excuses In The Dustbin

Excuses are the best friend of a human being and your biggest enemy too. You need to avoid giving excuses to yourself. For say, you wake up morning early and want to invest an hour on the workout, meditation or yoga. You purse these routines for a day or two and after that, a big excuse comes down, where you just give lame excuses of sleeping for another 15 minutes and due to this, your routine breaks. So, avoid giving excuses to yourself and throw that in the dustbin.

A Gratitude Practice

Everyone in this world is not gifted with everything we have or we wish to have. We never share our gratitude to almighty for things we are gifted with. So, when you wake up in the morning, just make a practice of sharing thanks to almighty God for things you have with a smile on your face.

Waking up morning is a lazy task and honestly speaking we hate that. So, the best way is to set an alarm 20 minutes before the time you have fixed for yourself. Every small start can help you achieve a bigger milestone.
