7 Ways Becoming an Entrepreneur Saved Me.

Being an entrepreneur has made me blossom into the person I’ve always dreamt of being.

Before I went full time in my first startup I was very much so running like a hamster on the corporate hamster wheel. I wasn’t able to listen to my body, dream bigger, and I didn’t have the capacity to actually implement strategies for my dreams to become a reality.

Becoming an Entrepreneur Made me Flourish.

Almost a year into being a full-time entrepreneur sure has been eye opening. If I look back at when I first took the leap, quit my day job, and went full-time (without a plan or clients lined up I should add) it’s crazy to see how much life has changed. It’s become quieter, in a good way.

The way I have structured my life as an entrepreneur allows me to work creatively when I mentally feel creative, there is no pressure to perform 24/7. I am able to provide a better service for clients, my business has skyrocketed, and I am the owner of multiple businesses now in almost a year full-time.

I’m not telling you this to sugarcoat entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship takes a lot of long hours and determination to actually make it.

Only about a month ago was I able to really start stepping into my dream lifestyle of being able to wake up when I please, even though it’s typically 6AM, along with really taking advantage of a more flexible schedule.

I’m only able to do this because I now have solid automated systems and a small team around me to support my first business while I focus on other financial avenues now too. Let’s get into all the ways becoming a full-time entrepreneur saved me.

1. No more building my life around someone else’s schedule.

2. I’m able to listen to my body and give it what it needs when it needs it.

3. I have a dream morning routine that’s not rushed and filled with anxiety like my corporate lifestyle was.

4. Now I can focus on not just one, but 3 income streams currently with my small team. I’ve learned how to delegate and effectively work towards my goals.

5. I’ve learned the art of creating a business that makes me happy and makes me feel fulfilled.

6. I’m able to work with clients all day every day that I love working with and chatting with.

7. I’m able to prioritize my goals, and values, and work towards the lifestyle I dream of having.

When I became an entrepreneur full-time I was ridiculously burnt out.

My biggest vow to myself that I repeat to myself every single morning is that I will never be back in that position again. I will never feel that exhausted, not taken care of, and mentally unwell ever again. I wasn’t able to prioritize anything that made me happy with the schedule I was required to have in the corporate world.
