7 Tiny Habits Proven To Drastically Improve The Quality Of Your Life
Caution, potentially life-changing!
In the self-improvement space, we keep reading about things that are supposed to make our lives so much better.
However, these things are often difficult to implement on a regular basis.
In this article, I would like to share 7 tiny habits that can be easily integrated into everyday life and bring enormous benefits.
Rehydrate After Waking Up
When we wake up in the morning, we are usually dehydrated, which makes us tired and leads to poor concentration and headaches, among other things.
If you drink a few glasses of water directly after waking up, you will eliminate this problem and start the day much more active and fit.
Write Down 3 Things You Are Grateful For Every Day
Being grateful has powerful effects on our well-being.

A suitable way to take advantage of this gratitude is to write down 3 things you are grateful for every day. The best thing you can do is even try to take a moment to think about these things and really feel the gratitude.
Meditate For A Few Minutes
Are you often stressed? Then you should definitely try meditation.
If you do it regularly, your body will release less of the stress hormone cortisol. It also strengthens areas of the brain that help you go through life more positively and calmly.
“Your calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges. So relax.” — Bryant McGill
Stand Up Straight
Pay attention to your body language.
The mind-body connection is truly mindblowing. It is not only that our emotions influence our body language but also the other way around. If you walk upright and confidently you will actually feel more confident. Try it out.
Call A Friend
Social contacts are enormously important for us. Unfortunately, it happens again and again in our stressful everyday lives that contact with friends breaks off. And that sucks.
Oftentimes, a short call every few weeks is enough to maintain the relationship.
Tip The Waiter
Giving not only helps the person you are giving to, but also helps yourself. Research shows that giving has a very positive effect on your own mental health. If you can afford it, that’s reason enough to give a generous tip again, isn’t it?
Get Your 10,000 Steps In
Walking can be good for us in many ways.
Of course physically, but also for mental health and creativity it walking very well as many studies show. One value that is often mentioned is 10,000 steps. I integrate these walks into my everyday life, for example by going to the supermarket. I even save fuel and do something good for my wallet and the environment.
“It is only ideas gained from walking that have any worth.” — Nietzsche
