7 Things You Can Do to Stay Happy
Things you can do if you start to feel a bit down to help keep yourself happy.
I rarely stay down if I start to feel a bit down. I find things in my life that I know make me happy and I do all I can do to do those things so I can get out of feeling a bit down.
There are many things we all can do to keep ourselves happy. I know some take a bit more than others to get happy and stay happy, but I think it’s achievable for all if they find the things that make them happy and implement them into their life daily to stay happy.
I got a list of things that hopefully will help change anyone’s mood.
- A good thing for the reader in you is to go on Medium, or any other platform of choice and find some uplifting stories to make you smile. Read the ones that you feel inside. Bring that happiness from deep down inside you.
- Video call a family member you miss. A grown child you may not have talked to in a while or a grandchild. Even if you like a family member’s pet, talk to the family for a minute then ask about the pet and ask if you can see that pet. Even hearing about how the pet is can put a smile on your face.
- If you like nature and animals, go to a park filled with animals and take a walk around. I know when I go for a walk or just see nature’s animals, it makes me smile. Driving yesterday I saw a cute little fox. I haven’t seen one in some time it felt nice to see it.
- Go play around with your husband/wife/girl or boyfriend. Joking around with them can put a smile on your face. I know not everyone does this. I believe it does not matter how long you are married. There is nothing wrong with some harmless flirty fun like you did when you were dating.
- Do you like shopping? Window Shopping? You don’t have to leave your house to do either. Window shopping is done on your Windows PC. So you are still window shopping. Amazon has cheap things you can find.
- Do a hobby you enjoy. I could go fishing, crochet, cook, or bake something. So many different things a person can do they enjoy.
- Back to being an animal lover, a different thing to do as an animal lover is go to your local animal shelter. Play with the dogs or cats there. They could use the attention and love from a human as much as you could use the cheering up.
These are just a few and remember to change some of the things with the things you like to do. It is easy to get happy but hard to stay happy nowadays with everything that has been happening lately. If you keep doing things like this you may just be able to keep yourself in a better mood and avoid the blues.
