Would you be interested to hear what I’ve been thinking about and how I got there?

I Followed These 7 Steps for My First Blog to Reach Its First Reward in Only 2 Months.

If you’re just starting out, it could be helpful for you.

1 . Picked a niche:

My purpose in this world is to build my dream world, the most fantastic planet on which to live and thrive. Food, water, air are all essential for human existence. Still, the ultimate perfect environment will be when humans exist in harmony with nature.

The hydroponic way is a blog about growing plants using hydroponic technology. I focused on this particular niche because I genuinely love doing it and contributing to society in the present and future.

After researching it, I could see fewer websites, and I couldn’t get all the information I was searching for.

So I decided to learn it and share it with you all.

I’m making this statement because anybody can start blogging in their free time. However, I believe that websites with a clear purpose will live longer. So, before you start writing on your niche and learn it thoroughly.

So, by narrowing down my blog’s topic, I was able to do more in-depth research and provide my readers with the best information possible.

2 . Studied about audience:

Once I’ve decided on a niche, I researched what my audience was actually searching for. I used keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest. As I learned through a youtube channel, Google’s autosuggestion is by far the best keyword research tool out there.

Learn to be the best google. Trust me, it has a good ROI.

You may ask me how?. Once we type any word in google, it may give like the below image. So I could understand what people search more.

You can also use Google Trends to see growing interest in the topic over time.

3 . Well-researched the topic:

Once I know what people are searching for, I do extensive research on the topic to provide valuable information to my readers. This includes finding and citing credible sources to back up the claims.

Sometimes, I might have a conflicting opinion about a topic. All I do is be honest and let my post reflect it.

Your thinking has a value far beyond than you might imagine.

Think about alternatives to the solution you are offering in the post. Think about the benefits and drawbacks of them, the history, etc. Looking at your idea from different angles makes it more interesting.

4 . Organized the content:

Once I’ve gathered all of this information, the next step is to organize. It is easy for your readers to follow. I assume myself as a reader and ask what I want from the article. So, instead of writing to increase my word counts, I focus on the readability and purpose of the article or the blog post.

This step includes creating headings and subheadings formatting your text in a certain way.

5 . Checked with Grammarly:

No one is perfect, and that includes writers. That’s why I use a tool like grammarly.com to help me catch any mistakes in your writing before you publish it.

I am using a premium version. So that it suggests I change the wording to my target audience shows synonyms also grammatical mistakes. The 12 bucks I pay every month is incredibly helpful.

Sometimes, I use Hemingway with Grammarly. It helps to identify the sentences which are hard to understand by readers. So I used to revise them.

6 . Selected a good image:

Images can be just as powerful as words when it comes to storytelling. That’s why it’s crucial to select an image relevant to your content and capture readers’ attention. For this purpose, I use free image sources such as Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash, and Canva.

Canva is more special because it has more features such as different sizes, creating videos, logos, animations, and charts. The premium version has fantastic images we can use in our blogs.

7 . Maintained consistency:

One of the most important things I did as a blogger is consistent with my publishing schedule. This means publishing new content regularly.

If you are consistent with blogging, it will help keep your readers coming back for more. I am aiming to publish at least one per day. But it is not always happening. I am posting as much as possible with my capacity.
