My reflection and thoughts on marriage

Marriage is a lifetime commitment. A commitment to work through problems together, to communicate openly, and to love each other through both the best and the worst.

Marriage is dreaming together and working together to accomplish goals.

It’s a mutual understanding of what is needed as a unit. Even if that requires sacrifice.

It’s a commitment to give 100% of yourself every single day to the other person as they do for you.

It sometimes requires doing things that the person is more interested in than you. It’s a trade-off but it keeps things diversified and shows support for each other.

I’m newly married and looking forward to learning more as the journey unfolds.
