6 ways to break toxic habits and make new ones.

We all keep thinking same thoughts which leads to same habits then same person and life.

We all have good and bad habits in all aspects of life (personal, professional and daily life) that leads us to the life we want or don’t want. But we don’t give importance to our internal selves, we never think about our habits and always complain about our lives.

I improved and have seen positive change by forming new habits that has caused me to be more disciplined and have achieved what I wanted. I want to share my own journey how I transformed by simple steps.

  1. First step is to become self-aware.

Learn your current self. i.e., what are my mistakes, what are my habits; why do I feel certain way, what makes me angry, what makes me sad or happy, what makes me feel motivated or down.

2. After learning about yourself, the next step will be unlearning those habits (in order to make room for new habits) unlearning is like stop doing those habits first.

· In order to be happy, stop being unhappy (stop doing things that makes you unhappy)

· Wealthy: stop doing things that makes you poor.

· Healthy: stop doing things that makes you unhealthy.

· Successful: stop doing things that makes you unsuccessful

· Profitable trade: stop doing things that makes me a losing trader.

3. Once you learn about your old/current self and find the main problems the next step will be thinking about the new self, how and what you want to become OR transform into. What it will be like?

4. And start making decisions to be that new self. What should you do in order to be that person. and must plan and take steps to be that person.

5. After you have decided what and how you will do, first thing would be mentally rehearsing; you have to think as if already you are that person you want to be, think as if its already happening. that’s why self-thinking is very important, it shapes us then our lives.

6. Soon you will find yourself doing those actions and if those are done repeatedly, they will become your habits and you will become that new self. (I have been writing my goals/new habits on sticky notes and has stick to wall, it always reminds mewhat am I supposed do and has made me more disciplined in all aspects.)
