It’s been nearly two months since I embarked on my journey of entrepreneurship, embracing the roles of an influencer and content creator.
However, in today’s fast-paced digital world, content creators have various mediums to express themselves. From YouTube channels to blogs and articles, the options are endless. Why did I choose writing over creating video content?
Let me break it down for you.
1/ Organizing My Thoughts and Expressing Myself
First and foremost, writing serves as a powerful tool to help me organize my thoughts and express myself effectively.
Despite my love for a bustling life filled with dating foreign beauties, entrepreneurship, adventures, and more, I’m a quite logical inside. Thus, I’d love to know my thoughts clearly and express them logically.
Writing provides me with the pleasure of sitting down and enjoying my quiet time while also cleaning up my thoughts. It allows me to reflect on my experiences and share them in a well-organized and logical manner, ensuring that my ideas are conveyed with clarity and precision.
I can’t feel the same with video content.
2/It Suits My Introverted Personality
Secondly, my introverted personality plays a significant role in my preference for writing.
I’m naturally shy, and I cherish moments of solitude. Writing aligns perfectly with my introverted tendencies, allowing me to communicate my ideas and stories without the pressure of being in front of a camera.
It’s a medium that lets me be myself, reflecting the quieter side of my personality, communicating with myself and later, you.
3/ A Tool for Language Practice
Another compelling reason I choose writing is its role in improving my language skills.
I’m passionate about learning different languages, including English, Spanish, and even Chinese.
Writing allows me to practice and enhance my writing skills in these languages without the need for expensive language courses or tutors.
4/ Convenience is Key
Writing is incredibly convenient — I can do it practically anywhere, whether I’m in a bustling shopping mall or patiently waiting for someone.
There’s no need to lug around bulky equipment or worry about the risk of theft. It’s a hassle-free way to create content without the need for fancy gadgets or elaborate setups.
In fact, my startup essentials are incredibly streamlined: just my trusty Huawei mobile phone and my Apple iPad Pro 2022. Remarkably, I don’t even own a computer. How cool is that!
5/ Cost-Effective
Opting for written content is a budget-friendly choice. Unlike the world of video content creation, which often demands pricey investments in cameras, microphones, and complex editing software, writing doesn’t require such financial commitments.
As the saying goes, “One dollar is one dollar,” regardless of how or where it’s earned. Since I can monetize both video and written content, why not start with a more affordable and less risky option?
In fact, I accomplish most of my work using just my trusty iPad and mobile phone right now. This allows me to exercise financial caution with my investments until I’m absolutely certain that my startup is on a path to success.
It’s all about being smart with resources and minimizing financial risks along the way.
6/ Time-Saving
To convey the same amount of information, video creation and editing often demand significantly more time and effort than writing and reading.
Writing allows me to be far more efficient with my time. I don’t have to worry about the intricacies of video editing, which can be especially challenging when I’m on the go.
It’s about efficiency and making the most of the time available, and writing fits seamlessly into this equation.
In conclusion, while video content has its merits, writing offers the dual benefits of helping me organize my thoughts and expressing myself while aligning with my introverted personality. It’s cost-effective, convenient, and a valuable tool for expression.
So, considering my content delivery preferences and requirements, writing is my preferred choice.

尽管我热爱充满异国美女、旅行，健身，外语学习和冒险等精彩生活，但我内心其实很理性。因此，我希望能够清晰地了解我的思想并以逻辑的方式表达出来。
写作让我能够坐下来享受宁静的时光，同时整理我的思绪。它让我能够反思我的经历并以井然有序和逻辑明晰的方式分享它们，确保我的思想清晰而准确地传达出来。
但是在视频内容创作中，我无法获得同样的感觉。
2/ 它适合我的内向性格
其次，我的内向性格在我偏爱写作方面发挥了重要作用。 我天生害羞，珍惜独处的时刻。写作完美地符合我的内向倾向，让我能够在没有摄像机压力的情况下传达我的思想和故事。 这是一种让我可以做自己的媒介，反映我性格中更安静的一面，与我自己以及后来的你进行交流。
3/ 语言练习工具
我选择写作的另一个引人注目的原因是它在提高我的语言技能方面起到了作用。 我热衷于学习不同的语言，包括英语、西班牙语，甚至葡萄牙语。 写作让我能够在这些语言中练习和提高我的写作技巧，而无需昂贵的语言课程或导师。
