$500 Medium Monthly Quest… I took a day off.
Well, actually 2. When I returned, the sky had not fallen.
The earth didn't explode and Medium ran just fine without me.
Two months of working non-stop. Just ate and slept.
So drumrolls, please…………
Just got the email and October ended like this.

Even in my downtime, my previous stories were still getting read. I got tons of comments and highlights. I respond to every comment or highlight. I go to the person’s Medium, read clap, and highlight or comment.
It took me hours. It was glorious. We are supporting each other.
I have read other writers who refuse to comment. Maybe as a newbie, I don’t understand. So for now I blindly just do what I believe is a good thing.
That person’s article got many claps but zero comments. I am still learning.
I am back behind the desk, but my poor treadmill misses me. I got my treadmill at goodwill for $60 years ago. Yay!
Time to walk more. But you know the drill.

You can write part-time and that is awesome. The results will come slower. I went extreme to find out faster what would happen faster.
If you work part-time, you will make part-time money.
Show up and be willing to do the work. Have a schedule.
Mine is:
- Check my stats in the morning and log yesterday's total money, 3 days into November and I am at $33.
- Check my emails for comments and highlights. Open each person’s Medium and read, clap, Highlight, or comment.
- Open medium.com and follow, read, clap, and so on.
- Then I lay down for a few minutes to think of an idea.
- Get up and write.
I started today at 8:30 am. No alarm. Just start whenever. It is now5:40 and This is my second piece today. The first one was sent to a publication.
Ok, so what next? Keep writing of course. We are in this together.

I actually only just need a bean burrito occasionally from Taco Bell.
Now I can do it! $1.35 each.

I had a stroke so I am disabled and am kicking major ass.…well in some ways. I can’t walk or talk well but I’m a writing MO-FO! Kickin’ serious BUTT 100%!
