From where I started to where I am now, it has been a remarkable experience.

Today, I am going to share my 50 days of the writing journey at Medium. This period comprises many trials, like every new writer of Medium. Although Medium is an open platform for writing and publishing but holds good ideas, creative minds, and passionate writers. Over time, I see change, growth, and improvement in myself. Learning from fellow writers, editors, and mistakes adds value to the experience. We all are learners of various schools of thought.

“Learning never exhausts the mind.” — Leonardo da Vinci

Kick-start the Journey at Medium.

When I entered this platform, I considered it like other blogging websites and started writing about travel blogs. I published two articles; Five strategies to stay healthy during a road trip, and 5 Remarkable Travel Tips that Ensure Your Safety During Traveling 🚜.

The reader read my stories and appreciated them. I visit their accounts and read their stories. I learn how brilliantly they express their ideas about life, careers, relationships, health, and many other niches in their stories. These ideas inculcate in my mind, and I stop writing about travel material.

I am following Zulie Rane YouTube Channel that made me think about myself. My unconsciousness is doing work diversely and emerged as a creative skill. Having an English literature background, I write about argumentative articles, which explore the many dimensions of life. I wrote the third article based on critical thinking. Where Does Human Stand at the Name of Development in the Twenties ❓ Don DeLillo’s writings inspired me to write this article. I am fond of his writings and try to express my views about our postmodern life. This article was a turning point in my writing journey at Medium.

The appreciation comes from the article pushes me to write and explore a new idea. Otherwise, the start of the writing journey at Medium agitates to Fiverr, as I have experience at Fiverr.

I write almost daily and submit to different publications, which act as a pillar in the Journey of Medium. I do not rush into massive publications but catch up with the smaller or the fresh ones because the growth was easy with smaller publications for new writers. Secondly, the editorial teams help you a lot.

About Publications

Learning and growth go hand-to-hand with publication.

The publications help me to grow faster. I am a part of these publications Poetry Love — Medium, ILLUMINATION — Medium, Med-Page — Medium, Lifeline — Medium, The Masterpiece — Medium, the just reflection, and many others initiated by great writers. Their names are mention at the end of the story.

In these publications, I share my thoughts and learn from fellow writers. The stories deal with the social life, life lessons, and inspirations, like What Happened That Made Me Grow Up?, We Live In a Digital Zombie World, Why is this Injustice?, You are a Precious Gem, and The Powerless Girl. One day, I reached 92 views. I received 65 reads on another day and 40 fans three days ago.

Life and everything related to it become a part of writing. I tried to change the style and expression of words, which resulted in the formation of poems. So far, I have written ten poems, out of which two had gained over 1000 views. These are Passenger O Passenger and The Unstoppable Life.

Other poems reached 500 plus claps with a good read ratio. You can visit my best poetry list. I am happy about the Journey at Medium. A new writer feels this kind of happiness.

The increasing number of followers is playing a significant role in my journey on Medium. I am grateful to them.

Learning Outcomes

I am heading towards my journey on Medium. It is not only a journey of writing, but progress of the inner self. This journey is a privilege to those who want to explore the intrinsic world alongside the outer world. I do not know about my future, but I am happy to explore the world of creativity.

  1. The writing journey on Medium is about embracing opportunities. In better words,

Don’t sit down and wait for opportunities to come. Get up and make them” — Walker.

2. Although, Medium allows writers to write about anything but engagingly. It is about creativity. One can write thoughts, ideas, and experiences creatively.

3. The writing journey at Medium enlightened the hearts and minds of the empowering words of writers.

4. To carry on the writing journey at Medium — consistency in writing matters, not the consistency of remaining online.

5. The experimentation of things helps to determine the direction of the journey at Medium.

In the end, I want to say that I understand the instincts before putting content in Medium. The investment of time makes the any journey easy. New writers should follow Medium outlines and tips. Creators Hub, 3 min read, and Medium Policy keep the writers up to date. One has to set milestones to ensure the Journey on Medium. Here, I want to add another quote to boost the new writers.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins from one step.”- Lao Tzu.

Step out and confront the challenges to overcome any journey of life. Now, I have no regret for my choice.

The writing journey on Medium has a silver lining on the horizon of the future. It is not 50 Days of the writing journey at Medium. It is indeed a never-ending journey of writing. There will always be development, improvement, and struggle; all you have to do is take it all in and do the proper thing. Keep growing, and live in the here and now.
