5 ways to earn passive income from Print on Demand artwork

Whenever we hear the term passive income, 2 options always pop up one being stock market, dividend income investing and second real estate. while both these options are good, they still do require some capital to get started with at least on regular basis.

If you have been thinking of creating passive income by investing your time and sweat only, then here’s a cool way to create digital assets that will pay you for life.

Creating digital assets in form of artwork is an easy option to start with, all you need is an app that allows creating a text-based design or you can use one of the popular websites like CANVA. Now you might be thinking i need to be a graphic designer to get started with, you DON’T!

I can say that with my own experience, although i create them once in a while as a hobby. to give you an eg a few years back during the solar eclipse someone from the Facebook group i was part of, created a basic t-shirt relating to the solar eclipse and it made him $30,000 in royalty from just that one shirt. As i don’t want to reveal his exact design i am attaching here the closest one to give you an example.

Here’s an example of a tshirt that make me some passive income every month.

The beauty about this side hustle is that you create 1 artwork and you can leverage it into multiple products and several marketplaces earning you passive income from multiple sources

Another important aspect of this side hustle is you never need to stock any products, post them, handle returns etc Nope! As it’s print on demand its the website you make a sale on that will create, ship and handle all the legwork.

My income report on Merch by Amazon

Here’s a list of top marketplaces where you can submit your artwork 1 Merch by Amazon 2 Teepublic 3 Redbubble 4 Zazzle 5 Teespring

Conclusion To conclude i am in no way saying its easy and after doing it you will be relaxing on the beach doing nothing, just like writing on Medium it involves research, SEO relating to titles and keywords etc however you don’t need to be a graphic designer to get going, in fact, i am hoping to at least design 1 shirt every week in 2022 going forward and see how much i have grown by end of 2022.
