5 Valuable Lessons I Learned While Stuck in a Demotivated Situation
Insights from My Journey Through Demotivation

Our first reaction to a difficult situation is often negative.
Such thoughts are of no use and lead us far from the solution.
This is normal to get demotivated and have negative thoughts.
I even had times when I felt the same way. There were so many times I felt depressed –
When I was struggling to find a job in Germany because I didn’t know the German language
When I had very limited options for working with a 1-year toddler
When I was not getting freelancer clients
When I was not able to earn much money
But being negative never helps, it didn’t help me even.
The main reason is we stopped focusing on hard work, learning, and consistency and instead just began to think that I was not good enough to do anything and that I would not be able to earn a penny anytime.
Here are 5 lessons I learned after getting into a difficult situation and overcoming it. Trust me this really works amazingly.
1/ Practice to say 1 good thing about yourself
Of course, One positive thought every day helps me to maintain stability.
Constant practice helps me remain stable even in the most difficult circumstances.
Stand in front of the mirror and say 1 good thing every day about yourself. You can choose anytime in the morning or late evening.
2/ Pause and Acknowledge
A moment to acknowledge your feelings without judgment.
Understand that it’s normal to feel demotivated sometimes.
Instead of diving into negativity, I started this practice of pausing my thoughts and acknowledging what I was supposed to do next.
3/ Set Realistic Goals
Break down your tasks into smaller, achievable goals.
Celebrate each accomplishment, no matter how small, to boost your motivation.
4/Practice Self-Care
Many times we are so busy making our lives perfect, earning $$, and keeping our families happy that we forget to spend time with ourselves.
We forget to give priority to things we love to do.
I have started setting timelines for my work and family.
I have started taking time for myself. Engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Taking care of yourself physically and emotionally can improve your overall motivation.
5/ Visualize Success
Imagine yourself overcoming challenges and succeeding.
Visualization can help create a positive mindset. It is true that
Let our mind think of success and getting successful will be potentially high in our lives.
Train your mind to think positively and succeed and there is a possibility, that you will get success because your mind will make it easier for you to do it.
