Strategy to Create Powerful First Impression & Get Rich in Business and Life (Be Approachable)

Sometimes, making a good first impression is easier said than done. You can end up putting a pretty good amount of time into this one. The ballers spend less time and still impress with much mastery. It is best to try, but not look like you are trying too hard. It is like dating, try but ensure you let all look natural and smooth.

We admire those who dress, speak, and look to impress; especially when they seem to just do all naturally as though this is just who they are.

Tips to making a good first impression:

  1. Shower and use deodorant before leaving the house

2. Use cologne, perfume, or body spray

If you prefer, try Axe for men or women as body spray too. The scents are pretty sexy and amazing.

As an awkward aside, I always get compliments about how I smell when I use axe. Past coworkers had repeatedly stated “you smell too good” at work; which I found to be not viable for me to change and a great compliment overall.

3. Shave, cut your hair, and put your hair in a presentable way

Worst case scenario, females should place their hair in a bun with or without bangs; to have a clean look on those days where they do not have time or tools to do their hair nice. Be sure to place your hair up loosely as to not pull your hair out or cause pain from tight hairstyles.

4. Be strategic about your outfit and shoes

If you are on a date or attending a professional work event; you will want to wear nice pants, shirts, polos, button ups, dress jackets, dresses, shoes, or heals instead of jeans.

Certain professional events or jobs require safety first attire like jeans, steel toe boots, normal boots, sunglasses, safety glasses, or a cover.

Be sure to dress for the occasion because this will help you dress for success and impress.

5. Communicate well

Be respectful, enunciate your words, speak clearly, use strategic bigger words where ever able or reasonable; but do not try too hard. Use strategic simpler words to ensure others understand you; but base this off of the situation or audience.

For job interviews, communicate with larger more professional language.

When you are teaching, coaching, or mentoring, simplify your language

Some people are never impressed

The reason I say this all is easier said than done; is because some people are never impressed. Some are negative nancy’s who are never impressed and only seek to put others down or make them feel bad.

When someone puts you down

When someone makes you feel bad for looking good

When someone makes you feel bad for smelling “too” good

When someone makes you feel bad for trying

When someone discourages you from being your best self

These people are just not worth your time and effort. I tend to put less time into interactions with them or avoid them all together.
