5 things I Learned About Women Through My Wife
And why I’ll never figure them out
- One day I’m the sexiest man alive and the next I’m a big ape who just wants her for her body. A woman’s perception of you can change from day to day even if you haven’t changed a thing.
- If I knew her I would know what she was thinking. If you know a woman long enough, she shouldn’t have to tell you what to do or what’s expected of you. It’s been 26 years after all.
- Along those same lines, I should know what she means. She shouldn’t have to explain herself. Women expect you to not only be a mind reader but an interpreter as well.
- She can compare me to her dad, but to compare her to my mom would be suicide. It is one thing to criticize a woman’s behaviour but to compare it to another woman, as in to say why can’t you be like her, run!
- It is good that God gave the pain of childbirth to her because we wouldn’t have any kids if I had to go through it. Men may be stronger, but women can bear pain better. It is just a fact.
I’m learning all the time. When I think I’ve got her figured out, I don’t. But I wouldn’t change a thing. It keeps things interesting.
