5 Steps to Engage in Experiences With Satisfaction
…easy peasy!

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
- Carl Jung
Follow that will and that way which experience confirms to be your own.
- Carl Jung
True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not.
- Seneca
- Do things for yourself that make you happy — one thing I did was put a coffee maker in my bedroom. The smell of coffee first thing in the morning makes me feel happy
- Do things for yourself that make you happy repeatedly. I make myself a cup of coffee almost every morning
The repetition will help, you’ll see…
3. Sit quietly with the happy feeling for a few seconds and take it all in. You can even knod your head with a “Hell yeah!” It’s great to connect the movement of your body with your happy feeling. You can take it a step further and actually say “Hell yeah!” out loud, or “Heck yeah!” works just as well.
4. Think back to something that you enjoyed as a child — and do it. If you feel way to silly, improvise. I used to like to play in the dirt. Now I garden! It makes me just as happy!
5. Repeat this all over again, and again, and again, and again, and again. (I hope that’s five “agains”.) You get the point…
You will begin to notice body sensations of what feels good, and what doesn’t. With the repetition you will begin to create feel good moments almost instinctively (that way you don’t talk yourself out of doing the things that make you HAPPY!), it becomes a natural part of life and you are inherently CREATING experiences that you can engage in with satisfaction. How cool is that?
Soak this all in, give yourself time to enjoy life. Life really isn’t all that short. We’re looking at almost a solid 80 years here in the US.

Uhhhh, that’s plenty of time to make many cups of coffee, stage some flowers on your table, repaint all the doors in your house every six months, take some 30-day challenges just for the fun of it (don’t forget to laugh at yourself), take many walks along the river bed, and play many, many tricks on your kids — and your parents.
