“Well-Being is the basis of this Universe. You have only to allow it.” -Abraham Hicks

A beautiful day starts with a beautiful mindset. There are some steps that you can take to feel better and stay positive and get the best out of your life. Here, I am emphasizing on the five easy steps to create healthier and closer relationships:

1. Connect and communicate with people:

Connecting with people allows you to enhance self-worth, and it will enable sharing your experiences. It also helps to learn and grow. If you click and communicate with people, you will find emotional support, which will add to your well-being. You will learn to support others, as well. If possible, try to spend time with family and get involved in those activities to help you develop as a person. Take an escape from your busy schedule and communicate with your friends, and meet them. Visit family members and relatives that need your support. Get involved in community work, volunteer for nature and animal welfare, use technology to connect the world through YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and get to know people who will help you evolve as a better version of yourself. Always keep in mind using social media as a tool, be cautious about using it excessively. Try not to rely on the virtual world by texting and emailing more than meeting in-person.

2. Involve yourself in physical activities:

Being physically active makes a person joyful. It helps to raise confidence in oneself and prepare you to set goals, accept challenges, and achieve. It is most important to find activities that you can incorporate in your lifestyle instead of spending time in the gym for hours and hours. You can start by simply walking, jogging, cycling or if interested in swimming. You can also dance to your favorite songs. Serving nature could be one option, such as gardening, watering your plants, and mowing the grass. Keep moving, and feel good about your physical activity.

3. Learn and explore new skills:

The more you learn, the better you are. Learning a new skill can develop a sense of purpose, which in turn results in mental well-being. You could try to learn any new cooking skills if you are interested in delicious and healthy food consumption. You can add a gift to mentor your juniors or subordinates at the workplace. You can even try to learn a new language. Start some DO IT YOURSELF (DIY) projects to improve your creativity, such as painting walls, fixing your laundry machine or bike, or anything that you would like to select, and you can make various beautiful and creative things at your home. Do whatever suits your taste. You could also add a new hobby, such as writing a blog, editing, sketching, or painting. I am adding a skill to write my blogs that I have been thinking for a while. Love and enjoy the skills that you want to add.

4. Give generously:

Kindness is essential for your well-being. It gives positive feelings inside you. It helps you to recognize that you are living a purposeful life and helps to connect people. You can start with a small act of kindness by merely saying thank you for those who have done something for you. Try to ask your friend, family, and well-wishers for how they are doing and if they need any help and listen to them. As you find yourself comfortable in your small act of kindness, you can move on to much bigger projects to volunteer community and support non-profit organizations.

5. Mindfulness:

Being aware of your thoughts and feeling, your surroundings, and maintaining harmony between them is mindfulness. The more mindful you are, the better evolved and purposeful life you can live. Breathing exercise can help focus on thoughts and feelings and make you stress-free, you can add mindfulness in your lifestyle to achieve tranquility and well-being!
