5 Simple Reasons To Travel With As Little As Possible
Those back-breaking days are finally over!

Do you remember the time you had to lug three pieces of heavy luggage around with you in Paris? I’ll bet you were sweating and gasping for air, as you tried to nonchalantly exercise those throbbing arm muscles. Well, I’m done with those days!
I strive to travel with as little as possible. Aside from sparing my dinky biceps of all the pain and suffering, here are all the reasons why I like to travel as a minimalist.
1️⃣ Less Chance of Misplacing Items
There are less things to keep track of and potentially lose. Hey, if I don’t bring it, I can’t lose it! Sometimes there are so many items in the suitcase that you end up misplacing something and don’t even realize it.
It’s too sad to find out you’ve lost your favourite banana holder after you get home (yea, I’m not sure why you would have one in the first place).
2️⃣ Save Your Body
I’ve got to reiterate this here. Travelling is tiring enough on its own. We don’t need to add two 50 pound suitcases to the party.
You don’t want to go home with a pulled back or strained neck.
Imagine getting injuries from your luggage on a trip to Italy! I know you need to get your weight-lifting routine in, but this is not the best way to do it.
3️⃣ I’m Free!
I’m not worried about all my things, so I can enjoy the trip a lot more. No need to track this and that.
I have the basics and that’s all I need to look after. Now, I can enjoy everything else on the trip!
4️⃣ Keep Your Hands Handy
It’s plain annoying to always be holding something. Keep your hands free, so you can take that perfect photo or hold your latte.
I’ll be the first one to admit this with no shame. I sometimes bring along a fanny pack, just so my hands can be free!
5️⃣ Avoid The Nasty Baggage Carousel
Challenge yourself to travel with just a carry-on! You can potentially skip the whole baggage carousel fiasco! Think of joyfully sauntering straight out of the airport, free as a bird. It sounds enticing, doesn’t it?
Those poor souls are still waiting for their suitcases. Anxiety-inducing.
