5 Signs You’re Wasting Your Life

Watch out for #4!

Many Philosophers believe life is essentially meaningless.

They say this is what creates the innate desire within humans to want to create meaning for themselves. Hence the birth of religion and many other groups.

It’s believed that for your life to feel worth it, you have to have some sense of purpose/meaning attached to it, which is derived from your goals, direction, community, etc.

Some say, without these things, you may be lost and wasting your life.

Here Are 5 Signs You’re Wasting Your Life

5. You Don’t Have Any Aim Or Goals in Life.

Goals give your life a sense of purpose and direction. Your goals don’t necessarily have to be career-related but related to life.

Do you want to be happy in life? That can become your goal.

Do you want to start a family? That could be your goal.

Do you want to be more in touch with your spirit? That could be your goal.

Your goals could simply be to grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Your goal could be to simply be a great human being.

Your goals can be anything that gives you something to work towards every day. Working towards a goal will give your life a sense of meaning and direction.

It’ll give you a reason to wake up every morning and look forward to your days.

What are some of your goals that give your life meaning?

4. You Live Your Entire Life To Please Others.

You don’t live for yourself.

You don’t even know what you want for yourself and your life.

Instead, you live for your parents, friends, and societal pressure.

You’re not in touch with your internal world and so you rely on the external world to lead you and to tell you what you want to do with your life.

Chances are if you live your entire life to please others, you’ll never live a life that’s in alignment with your own internally generated sense of purpose.

3. The Fear of Death Is Preventing You From Living

The fear of death is a common fear among humans.

Unfortunately, it seems powerful enough to paralyze you, and prevent you from living life fully.

The fear of death often stops people from pursuing their dreams.

For example, you may want to travel the world but think oh, what if I end up dead in a ditch abroad. That thought is enough to prevent you from doing something may want to do.

This fear has the power to leave you perpetually worried about something that’s inevitable for all human beings.

Instead, let the thought of all of this one day, inspire you to do all you can do, while you have a physical body here on earth.

2. You’re More Focused On The Concept Of “Life After Death”. Rather Than Just Living And Enjoying Every Living Moment.

You spend more time worrying and obsessing about the afterlife than actually enjoying the life you have now.

This is a trap many religious people can easily fall into.

Worrying about the afterlife often comes with unpleasant fears, such as burning in eternal flames.

These fears can keep you living in hell, rather than enjoying your Divine life.

1. You Keep Procrastinating and Postponing The Things You Want To Do. But You Never Actually Do Them!

Imagine not living in your purpose because you keep postponing it out of fear or lack of self-worth?

Many of us have things we dream about doing but never do, for one reason or another.

Our dreams, seeded in our hearts, are often in alignment with the things we’re here to do in this lifetime on Earth.

Quit procrastinating. Don’t put off your dreams anymore. Start turning your dreams into reality.

Tomorrow is not promised!

Are you living a life of purpose?

What are some of your goals that give your life meaning?

I’d love to hear your comments.
