5 Quick Tips On How To Lose Weight Fast!
Step 1: Understand it’s not a fast or easy process
One hurdle I see many people cannot overcome is that they believe they can suddenly change their lifestyle and lose 2kg every week just because they eat more lettuce.
The issue is that in this day and age many people are fooled by videos starring athletic influencers claiming preposterous things e.g wrapping clingfilm around yourself will help you lose weight.
By understanding that losing weight isn’t as easy as it seems, we help psychologically prepare ourselves and thus increase our probability of success.
Step 2: Make dieting fun
An issue with weight loss and dieting programs is that many people believe if they eat the same set of meals every day e.g. chicken and rice for 4 weeks straight they will look like Rocky Balboa in no time.
Although it may be something that can help aid you to your goal and if you eating the same healthy food daily, you will lose weight. From personal experience eating the same meal, every day can be very tiring. Here is what I used to eat when I first started dieting;
Breakfast: 37.4 grams of protein
- 4 egg whites — 14.4g protein
- one buttered toast — 3.1g protein
- protein shake(choco flavored) — 20g protein
- water
Lunch: 32.8 grams of protein
- 1 whole avocado — 4.6g protein
- 1 slice mozzarella ball — 25g protein
- 1 toast — 3.1g protein
Dinner: 55.3 grams of protein
- 1 whole chicken breast — 31g protein
- protein shake — 20g protein
- 1 cup rice — 4.3g of protein
I was eating around 125.5 grams of protein and around 1433 calories. In all honesty, after the first 2 weeks, this diet coupled with my workout routine helped me lose some weight, but after a while, I felt sick at the sight of chicken and eggs. Imagine eating the same meal every day for the rest of your life it’s almost impossible.
Because of my lack of joy from eating, I then turned to sweet snacks in order to satiate my desire for different flavors. In the end, I was right back where I started in terms of weight.

How can I make Dieting Fun?
There are so many ways nowadays to make dieting fun these include;
- Trying out new recipes e.g. Sweet potato pie
- Partner up with friends and family to make dieting more fun
- Eating out at a healthy restaurant

Step 3: Incorporate workouts into your week
A proper diet (Disclaimer; this is an affiliate link) can help fuel your body, but with no exercise, the fuel is not being used. When you do weight training you create micro-tears in your muscles, these tears are repaired with the nutrients you take in.
Therefore, a proper diet coupled with a good workout routine can help reach you achieve your body goals faster and more efficiently.

Step 4: Stay consistent
Now that you are eating properly and enjoy cooking yourself new exciting meals every week and have gone to the gym every week.
Consistency is key you may not see results the very next day But I guarantee if you stick to the Steps I mention you will definitely see results. Let me tell you this once you look in the mirror or stand on that weighing scale after a couple of weeks and see the first improvement you will be hooked.
