Here, I simply express my personal opinions and experiences.

1: Morning Routine Regularly

The mornings can be very difficult for you because depression can affect your sleep patterns,

You have difficulty sleeping or wake up early in the morning and are unable to get back to sleep, and having to start a new day can become very hard.

But from now on you will change and transform your morning routine, and from now on you will not only get up early, But by 9 am you will have done more than you normally do in a whole day.

Getting up half an hour before the Fajr prayer taking a shower, performing ablution, performing the Fajr prayer, and reading surah Ad-Dhuha are seen as a reminder of the greatness of Allah and the promise of a better future,

It is also seen as a source of Hope and comfort and helps to maintain focus on positivity and the purpose of life.

The prophet Muhammad (SAW) said that whoever recites surah Ad-Dhuha will be rewarded and their prayers will be answered,

I recommend that you not just read the Surah but also understand its tafsir because this is the Surah that was revealed to lift our Prophet Muhammad out of his depression.

Eat a Healthy Breakfast

I will tell you more about this in tip number 4 because it is important to know what you eat. get dressed, and make your bed,

Do this regularly for 30 days and see what kind of difference it can make in your day. do not negotiate with yourself, I repeat, do not negotiate with yourself,

Just do what you need to do because when the time comes, you will come up with all kinds of other reasons why you might as well postpone.

2: Too Seek Outdoor Air Regularly.

Now that you are freshly dressed and ready, it’s time to go outside that’s because your cortisol level that’s a stress hormone, is at its highest in the morning,

And you need to lower it with dopamine and serotonin, these are two substances that give you energy and make you feel happy.

You will go for a 20-minute walk this can be with a good friend or Aloan by going outside you give your body a nice boost and a good start to your day.

Do not give in to that feeling that you always need rest, you have to resist that feeling do this three times a week for a month Insha’Allah.

3: Exercise Regularly

Exercise, such as sports is extremely effective in combating depression,

Whether you spend 30 minutes on cardio or strength training various chemical substances and endorphins are produced in the brain making you feel happier and more relaxed.

They can even give you a relaxed and good feeling after a heavy workout, do not underestimate the power of sports as they will improve your Sleep Quality,

When you sleep well and are well rested, it improves your mood, I know the last thing on your mind when you’re experiencing sadness or not feeling good in your skin is to pack your sports bag,

But you’re going to do it anyway because you’re not going to negotiate with your thoughts, when you physically move your physiology changes and that changes your brain,

Your brain needs it your body needs it and your mental health needs it, do this two times a week regularly for a month.

4: Eat Healthy Foods

Foods that are recommended to eat when you are depressed are protein-rich foods that help your brain create substances that regulate your mood,

Good protein sources include meat, fish, eggs, nuts, beans and soy. vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin D, iron, Iodine, and selenium are good for mental health.

And can be found in foods such as sun-exposure fish, meat, eggs, nuts, and vegetables. B vitamins such as folate and vitamin B12 are also good for mental health.

And can be found in whole grains, nuts, eggs, fish, meat, leafy greens, and legumes. omega-3 fatty acids are very important and help reduce inflammation and improve your mood.

These can be found in fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines, as well as in flax seed and chia seeds.

Folate-rich foods help the brain create substances that regulate mood folate can be found in leafy greens, citrus fruits, legumes, and fortified grains.

Antioxidant-rich foods such as vitamin C and beta-carotene help reduce inflammation and protect your brain from stress. Probiotic-rich foods such as yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut, help promote a healthy gut and improve mood.

According to an authentic Hadith Aisha (Rz), the wife of Muhammad (SAW) said to eat it for I heard Allah’s Messenger may peace be upon him as saying "Talbina gives Comfort to the aggrieved heart and it lessens grief" Sahih Muslim.

Al-Albina is a soup made of barley flour with bran to which a cup of water is added, it is then cooked on low heat for 5 minutes and the cup of milk and a spoonful of Honey are added and Allah Knows Best.

5: Evening Routine

Before you go to bed turn off your Wi-Fi connection on your mobile phone, a mobile phone is a device that works with radio waves this means that waves are always being emitted as long as the phone is on,

If you look at your phone or tablet before going to sleep it can affect your sleep, for example, you might have trouble falling asleep or sleep poorly,

Using your smartphone for long periods can also lead to psychological issues and Nightmares, This is because the lights from your screen break down the chemical melatonin in your body and disrupt your sleep cycle.

Your bedroom is meant for sleeping and for intimate time with your partner that’s why it’s advisable to not use your phone and laptop in the same room as your bedroom,

This way the bedroom can truly be associated with sleep, therefore turn off your smartphone before going to sleep and don’t touch it again.

Use a separate alarm clock so you don’t have to worry about whether the alarm is set correctly, keep your phone at least one meter away from your body while you sleep,

If you can’t turn off the phone at least turn off the Wi-Fi to avoid the radio wave disruption, and make sure you do the ablution before you get into be. Ibnu Abbas (Rz) reported that Muhammad (SAW) said,

"Purify your bodies, and may Allah purify you, for there is no servant who spends the night in a state of ritual Purity without an angel spending the night with him, attached to his body. Every time he turns in his sleep, the angel says O Allah forgive your servant he’s spent the night in a state of ritual Purity".

(Hadith Hasan, due to other hadiths that have the same meaning, Hasan qualified by al-beni (Rh) in al-sahihah No- 2539). Recite the last two verses of Surah al-baqarah in a Hadith narrated by Abu Masood the prophet (SAW) said

"If somebody recited the last two verses of Surat al-baqarah at night that will be sufficient for him" From al-Bukhari.

Keep a gratitude journal every night. Write down three things you are grateful for. Make sure to write them down,

This means expressing appreciation for what Allah gives you. Allah owes you and means nothing; everything he gives is a gift expressing gratitude,

Especially in writing you develop the habit of being allergic to events that deserve gratitude throughout the day.

Which leads to generating more positive thoughts and feeling happier and more balanced.

In The End:

Remember, maintaining regularity and structure in your life can be a powerful tool in helping you regain control over your life,

Even when you don’t have anything planned, get up on time eat at regular intervals, and go to bed at the same time each night,

And the idea that you will never be able to overcome your depression is Just an Illusion, and it’s important to keep in mind that everything in life is temporary,

As mentioned in Surah (Ash-Sharh) Allah promised us with difficulty comes ease. believe in yourself and have faith that things will get better.
