Sometimes finding the right job is harder than actually getting the job.

The same job boards that are helpful to get an administrative assistant job, are probably not going to work as well for finding tech jobs.

Don’t skip out of the mainstream job boards. They can be useful, and still land a job. It just may take a little longer.

Focusing on sites dedicated to fill technology job openings, means that you’ll be speaking to people who regularly recruit for the tech industry. It’s a huge difference.

These are the top 5 job boards to find remote software testing jobs (and other tech based jobs).

Tip: You can specify “remote” in the location field when searching job boards.

Roll the Dice

I learned about Dice after befriending a technical recruiter. (Always befriend recruiters.)

Dice is a technology industry specific job board. The features of the job board are created with technology jobs in mind.

Dice includes an ‘Easy Apply’ option, where you upload your resume and fill out your information to your profile, and can apply to jobs easily with that information.

Climb the Ladder

The Ladders won’t be the most helpful to find entry level testing job seekers. They focus on finding $100k+ jobs and talent.

But if you’re new, it can’t hurt to throw your hat in the ring. If you have a few years of experience, it’s definitely worth checking out this high pay tech job site.

As of right now, they have over twelve thousand remote jobs related to ‘software test’.

Be an Angel

AngelList focuses on finding talent for startups. So if you’re interested in equity, and a fast paced work style, try Angel.

While AngelList focuses on startups, they don’t focus on tech. The site lists plenty of management, product owner, animator, director level jobs, and designer jobs as well.

AngelList prides itself on respecting the privacy of applicants, claiming to never show your profile to your current employer.

AngelList doesn’t allow you to search for just anything in their jobs. They match your resume and skills to jobs they are looking to fill.

Try Not to Let Your Stack Overflow

While StackOverflow is already the go to for low level enterprise plagiarism, they also offer a job board.

Applying via Stackoverflow is especially helpful if you’re a regular contributor on stack overflow.

You can use your responses and badges as social proof of your skills.

Get a Little Crunchy

TechCrunch is a leader is technology journalism. They’ve utilized their power in the tech space to launch CrunchBoard, the TechCrunch job board.

CrunchBoard specializes in technology, engineering, and start up jobs.

It’s a smaller job board, so there aren’t as many options. As of writing this, they only had about 43 remote software testing jobs available. That also means, that there’s likely to be less applicants as well.

You may not find what you’re looking for, but it’s worth a shot.
