5 Hard Truths about blogging

Medium was a blessing

Photo by Sincerely Media on Unsplash

Before starting my journey here on Medium I had a Google blog that I used for many years "Pimenta mais Doce" was its name.

Over the years my audience started to grow exponentially and I loved it, I started to have affiliations and partnerships with several brands but I wanted more.

I also wanted you Getting paid for what I was doing.

Today I decided to bring you the 5 hard and true things about having a Google blog.

  1. We work hard and hardly see any results.
  2. Brands and affiliations with them only want you to be a reviewer when we have more than 5,000 followers.
  3. People only read your articles if you read theirs .
  4. You don’t earn money for every item you make.
  5. It is very difficult to gain followers in a fair and decent.

Can you already see why I love Medium?

Not to mention that this is like a community of friends who all share a taste for reading and writing.

It has nothing to do with the blog and I believe many of you relate, because before they also had a Google blog.

It can be very overwhelming at times but it makes up for it 100%.
