5 Creative Ways to Use Evernote that Skyrocketed my Productivity
Different people think in different ways and view the world in different ways.

Regarding productivity, Evernote excels at helping you focus in a way that fits your needs (it's our thing), whether staying on top of your busy workday or keeping track of your details.
1. Evernote Home: as my dashboard.
This is my landing page and is the only app besides Things that I have open all the time.
With Home, you're presented with the most relevant information in an organized dashboard that's easy to navigate.
There are a variety of widgets and customization options available that will save you time and mental energy. Home is Evernote, your way.
- I have all my calendars synced to Evernote Home, which assists me in planning my day accordingly. No need for me to refer to my Apple calendar.
- I have multiple widgets for my clients and can get direct access to all my notes and meeting agendas.
- My 'INBOX' folder has a dump of all my ideas, Medium articles, notes, tasks, etc. In addition, I keep a widget for the exact right on my dashboard.
- The 'Recently Captured' widget has been great for me as it gives me access to web clips, images, documents, and emails.
2. I capture and record audio into Evernote from anywhere.
Writing down and remembering their words later is vital for doctors, entrepreneurs, and lawyers.
Evernote is used by writers, musicians, and composers to capture sounds around them and play back their work.
I use this feature for most of my meetings at work and listen to it later to capture notes or get this transcribed via various AI-powered apps like otter.ai.

3. Speech-to-text function is one feature I love it.
You can use the speech-to-text feature of your device to dictate notes into Evernote.
The steps below describe how you can start dictating notes into Evernote once you have enabled speech-to-text on your device.
Here is a quick guide to set this up on your phone, desktop, or Mac.
4. Evernote is a hub for all my highlights.
As an avid content writer on Medium and YouTube, I read quite a bit as a part of my workflow.
I have been using a tool — Readwise, which imports my highlights from multiple sources like Goodreads, Kindle, Medium, physical books, etc., Moreover, all these highlights are integrated with Evernote, creating a folder with all my highlights.
