Where shall I start Perhaps with the old fart Who got dressed in red plastic Not what you think And not so fantastic!
Or perhaps a trip To the countryside Double shifts in the Good ol’ England hotel Pounds dropped in my palm At a Christmas party from hell
The day I left Our family farm Never to return A baby was born On a silent night When this bird took flight
Let’s turn it around Island Antigua bound Sheer on the rocks A mojito with my Pops Family and inclusion Masked the pain and intrusion
Many a Christmas I work And I welcome this too For many a time There was only
Christmas Blues The morning I choose To Wake up with good Jazz Unwrapping presents In bed with my love How perfect
The day starts well The weather is swell Only my favorite things The tree, the lights The cozy fireplace Being held tight
Laughter and joy Dear souls connect Red wine, respected Indulgence of food As we set the mood
To a fairytale Christmas With true caring and sharing Snow falling Outside Our wooden cabin That only exists Beyond the boundaries Of the imagination…
