A Poem

What’s the tempo of the rhythm of life?

Is it 105?

And if its a song, what are the lyrics?

Baritone? Soprano? What style is it sang?

Are the vocals smooth? Does it bounce? Does it groove? What’s the melody? How does the tune go? Is it a love song? Is it beautiful?

Check the bond between the field and the rain, the moon and the tide and the wind and the grain, these rhymes were once thoughts now you hear a refrain, life is a miracle, simple and plain.

Can you see it? It’s all around. I can see it with my eyes on the ground.

When we match colours, we acknowledge our style, take a look at the sky every once in a while.

What’s the song that the stars sing called? ‘Glory’.

And it’s the same song sung when the snowflake falls. The fish in the seas, the buzz of the bees… the whisper of the breeze in the trees says glory.

The dog goes woof, the cat goes meow, the chicken cluck-cluck and the pig oink-oink, the sheep baa-baa, it’s the same old story, in case you didn’t know… they all mean glory.
