I’ve never seen, felt, or experienced something like that before

When I started my backpacking trip through southern Africa in 2015 I didn’t really know where to go or what to see. I didn’t even settle down on which countries I wanted to visit.

All I knew was I wanted to see Victoria Falls.

It’s hard to describe what I felt once I got there and saw them in person. But Joanna Skladanek brought me back to that exact moment when I was standing atop these majestic waterfalls.

I love reading about places I’ve been to from a different perspective. Every person experiences moments differently and we surely put things into words in our own way. It was a joy reliving those memories through her words.

While I didn’t do all activities she mentioned in her piece, I did a lot in those few days staying in Livingstone. And I wrote about all the fun I did at the falls in this article:
