Reasons Why I need to Write More in 2024?

How can I do write more and talk less?

Today I want to cultivate more deeply about writing and why writing is important and makes an impact for me and what would it be If writing will be part of my daily ?

1. Writing is My Psychological First Aid

I reliazed that as my age, when I have a problem, I need always find someone to ask them what I feel and expect their can be a good listeners, buat unexpectedly, they won’t be a good listeners, other than give an advice that we actually needs. Then I reliazed that

To have someone to listen and support you when you are not in good condisition not a best solution, it can be worse, make a new problem, someday

To put what on my mind, opinition and kind like an affirmation through to boost my motivation during writing its work for me, and I can compare my self before and after writing. It will be different when I told my problem to another people, I can’t control the impact of telling story directly from what people judge about me and wrong advice that could happen.

2. Writing Make Me More Alive

For me, writing draws me into the moment, helps me make art out of everyday life, the art of telling a story about myself, the art of journey into myself.

The most important thing from writing is gives me a moments to really know who I’m and What I’m gonna do to explore a world, and guide me what really matters in life.

I always wonder when I read my jounal/diary 2–5 years ago, I felt like de javu and how come writing changed my life like this and when I compare after journaling and solve the problem by myself I can share the experience into story and lesson learnt from private into open for public, and it make me more Alive.

To make me more alive is simple, when I found my self much better than before by reading my journal and taking wisdom from my experience life

3. Writing help me to re-focus

I remember when I hold Bachelor of Psychology, one of interesting topic is about Psychology Cognitive and my lecturer said, we can see our cognitive improvement after reading our previous writing and want to make some revision for it. Throwing back into may podcasting & Live on instagram or webinar by Zoom, I oftenly felt so many repetation and how bad I’m in public speaking when I listen the recordin. Now I knew writing more give me space and time to re-draft and re-focus my message to deliver. In this way, perhaps, it is easier than spoken communication. For my future speaking, I will be more prepare because after release a words to the audience, and once spoken there is no opportunity to ‘edit’ them before they are heard.

The more prepare I’m, the more I’ll be in control, lets write more!

The reason why for almost 2 years I did not accept an invitation to a guest speakers or sharing is only my decision and my self awareness to be prepare more by learning and exercise in the middle of my Master Communication Study and my worklife at manufacturing industry.

4. Writing is A Channel to Creating My Own World

Do you know that feeling when you created a brand new world? your very own? It happens to me, when i start a commitment to be write more, read & talk less.

Starting from my hobby for reading abook and gained more insight from insighful people make me put something on my head, its called

“Calling”

As human I found my calling in my life, and the calling is

“change the world to be a better place”.

My question is “How to make the world to be a better place If I still struggling to make a peace of my mind?

I start with Why, and continue with writing

Writing process constantly make me Learnt from a commulative feedback and self reflection to develop my skill of writing to deliver my message to communicate my self better. However, writing is also can be self-contained as beginner writers on medium with my own deadline and a particular purpose.

After 1 month start writing on medium, I though writing this article has more impact than other communication channels. I became less communicate with others, lack of cocial media activity. Through writing, I can can select kind of language to influence the thoughts and actions of my followers in particular ways, guiding followers through my article as an evidence.
