4 Quick Ways To Save Your Ass From The Incoming Depression That Will Envelope All Americans!
Chaotic times require a person who can adapt!
I don’t know if many of you have noticed but it seems that the price of everything has gone up! First its Gasoline which has gone up fairly quickly, then its food prices which has slowly increased a few cents each day. I don’t know about you but I’m starting to feel the tightness in my pockets and when I start to feel that I start to look for ways to loosen up that grip the Inflation and depression have on me.
Knowing this I start to look at my budget and see what I can do and can’t do without. Usually looking at your expenditures will tend to give you enough money to pull you through but at times its not enough so here are 4 quick ways of what I do to get through this coming depression and inflation.
Cancel all your Subscriptions:
I don’t know about you but I bet you have a tons of subscriptions for streaming movies and music on your phone, $5 here and there does not seem as much at the moment when things are fine. At the same time when things do go bad you will quickly notice that you are spending a lot of money on subscriptions as well. Hulu, Netflix, BritBox, YouTube, Pandora, Spotify etc tend to add up and you could be paying upwards to $200 a month just in subscriptions. Cancel those shits and stick to boring ass regular cable TV until things get better in the future.
At the time I’m saying this it seem that many other Americans have taken note as there was a article about Netflix complaining that they have lost thousands of their users at this point in time. I believe it has to do with their boring shows but the big part of the reason is that people cannot afford to no longer splurge like they used to and are holding on to their money as long as possible.
Start a Side Hustle:
I hate to say it since this term gets promoted to death but you need to find yourself a so called “Side Hustle” to make ends meet then go ahead. Your hustle does not have to be elaborate just enough that you can make some steady income. You can be a content writer like me, BichoDoMato or Hogan Torah (auto fills on Google) who get crazy paid doing this thing called writing although Bicho and Hogan probably make more money and write more than I do still if they can do it so can you.
Or if you live in a state where they pay you for recycling your plastics and cans you could make some money with that. I have seen homeless and addicts bring 6 or seven plastic bags full of cans and plastic bottles to the recycling center and get money for it. You can open a online store, sell stuff you don’t use at home on eBay or Craigslist. You can even sell Bottle Water on busy intersections and hell even sell “Looseys” which is a street name for loose cigarettes.
There are a ton of ways of make some side cash you just have to find what works for you!
Get a Better Paying Job:
As inflation and depression become more and more the norm we the people will have to learn to adapt to our ever changing environment. When prices start to go up you will need to upgrade yourself to a better paying position so that you can absorb the price changes.
Yeah I know for many of us that is easier said than done but if you want to continue to live the way you live then you will have no choice to either ask your Boss for a raise or find yourself a new job! As I speak to you right now I’m on my way to a phone call with a potential employer who is offering more money for my skills and experience. Looking and starting a new job does make things uncomfortable for a few people but it needs to be done. And if your job skills are not in demand you may need to learn new skills and with YouTube and other video platforms you can just about learn any new skills these days.
No excuses!
Start a Business:
If that “Side Hustle” starts generating some real cash, enough cash that you make more than what your job is paying is you why not turn that side hustle into a business. With a business you can get better tax opportunities than you ever can as an individual. Remember the US is one huge Corporation which is why those with businesses tend to be more favored than those without a business. A business does not have to be a fancy thing, you don’t need an office as you can probably run it from your house at first and as time passes you will hire people and offices for them to work in.
Start building that “F-U” money so you longer will lose sleep and worry about not having enough for the week!
In Conclusion:
As inflation and depression wear away the Dollar have no fear because once you become adaptable to your surroundings you will learn to dampen this blow. The 4 quick ways above is not written in stone, they are just suggestions for the lay person to read so they can come up with their own ideas on how to proceed in these chaotic times we are all going through today. Don’t get mad like everyone else, get smart! Those who look at the problem will figure out a way that they can move about without being hurt.
