4 Life Lessons I Learn From Isaac Newton
Lessons I never would’ve imagined that it would change my life…
Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, and alchemist who is widely known as one of the most influential scientists of all the time.
He has published important books and articles as Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, Calculus among others that are considered ones of the most important works in the history of science.
He dedicated his life to discovering the most intrinsical physics phenomenons and left his thoughts with us.
“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.”

Using the knowledge and understanding gained for major thinkers who have gone gave him the necessary tools to make that huge progress in science.
This principle is used in every research nowadays such as technology, physics, chemistry, literature, etc.
Researchers look for previous articles and concepts from a related topic of his interest and publish new ideas, concepts, and solutions letting their legacy to the new generations.
We use this knowledge to apply to different fields in our lives, that is how the technology is advancing so fast and making our life better than before.
How to apply it:
Developing new concepts, ideas, and doing research is something that maybe you have to dedicate your life to.
You must ask yourself what are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your goal.
Look for what others have been doing in your topic of interest and ask for support if is necessary.
Working with others and asking for help would help you to find easier the information that you are looking for.
In fact, it might be someone who is interested in the same theme as you and would work together.
“To me there has never been a higher source of earthly honor or distinction than that connected with advances in science”
Too often, we get so stuck in the path and fail that we don’t ask ourselves why we are doing it. Being connected with the why and having in mind the progress and advances in science will make your research or work will give you the energy to get to the finish line.
How to apply it:
If you already feel that you want to dedicate your life to the advances of science or something that benefits the world to be a better place to live.
You can start by giving you time to think about what are the topics that you feel more interested in.
Put in a list of the pros and cons and choose the best that fits with you.
You can discuss with someone you have confidence to help you to decide if you are not completely sure.
Can give you a different point of view and maybe rethink your decision for a better one.
“We build too many walls and not enough bridges”
Through our life we have so many difficulties on the way, people criticize our plans and sort of problems appears to separate us from our goal.
If we really want to achieve what we aspire, we must create those bridges, give ourselves the courage and the motivation to do it, have the confidence, and being surrounded by people who have that way of thinking.
Showing support to others is a win-win and it’s more powerful than any other action.
How to apply it:
Be emphatic with the others, show respect and support with what they are doing or want to do. Build health relationships, be the first one to spread that feeling with others.
You can go further far with the help of others and make them go further compared to letting them doing alone.
“What we know is a drop. What we don’t know is an ocean”
Sometimes we think that we know everything about a topic in specific, but we are in a mistake. We are discovering new things every day and are impossible to be updated with all these changes.
Having this in mind, the knowledge that we can found nowadays is very extensive and impossible to be assimilated for only one person.
We need to realize that we are part of this and work with others to make a huge impact in this world.
