April Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Graffiti & Street Art”

Dragon, stay away from my candy!

Not too far from my home is Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store in Jordan, Minnesota. It is truly an amazing store; the mecca of candy stores, but also soda from around the world and tasty homemade pies and treats.

Normally we make an annual trek but took 2020 off because of Covid. So we were extra excited last year to make our trip.

As we were walking up to the store, we noticed an addition on the side of one of the buildings. Street art in Mario theme (my son was very excited about that!).

At first, I didn’t see the illusion as we were standing right on top of it but the artist, Shawn McCann, marked a spot to stand to see it just right.

I thought that was a unique twist on street art and thankfully the dragon didn’t make its way into the store because you know it would have eaten every last piece of candy!
