36 Years Old Today….Time Goes by Fast!

Thankful for another year.

I’m turning 36 years old today and I have no idea where the time went.

It didn’t seem that long ago when I was in my early 20s going to Dallas Cowboys games and watching them lose in the most tragic of ways. (Some things never do change)

Either way, I’m glad to be getting older and I look forward to many more years. (FYI, I’m writing this post the night before, but it will be published on my birthday)

I thought about writing a post highlighting 36 reasons to be thankful, but then I realized that would take too long!

However, I want to let everyone know on Medium that I’m really thankful for their support. I rejoined the platform back in August 2023 and I had no idea that I would still be writing and active on here nearly every day.

I’ve met countless people on here who I consider my friends and Medium is one of the best online communities. Sometimes, I’ll complain about all the fake or spam accounts, but overall it’s a great platform.

I don’t know of too many places where you can write about nearly any topic and still make money at the same time.

Most of us won’t get rich here, but it’s still neat to make a few pennies or maybe even quarters if we are lucky. 😅

Thank you once again to each person who’s been supportive.

Freelance writing can be a lonely profession at times, but Medium has been an awesome place to meet other writers and learn about their life experiences.

I look forward to staying active here for a long time.
