Bill Gates Can’t Win Twitter but Does He Care
Every time the world is facing a catastrophe Bill Gates is blamed, and the witch hunt by conspiracy theorists starts on social media
Bill Gates can’t win Twitter. Unlike his nemesis, Elon Musk, even when accused of sexual misconduct, can do no wrong in the eyes of his Twitter minions.
And yet, Musk to his Republican supporters is politically persecuted. They see Musk as the champion of free speech as he is in the process of a Twitter takeover, but the $44 billion price tag has yet to find its way to the pockets of Twitter stockholders.
It happened as soon as at least 100 cases of monkeypox were reported by news organizations, Twitter was abuzz with the trending topic, #BillGatesBioTerrorist.
What did I just say, monkeypox? Yes, but no one has to panic, the virus is unlikely to cause a new wave of pandemic. Monkeypox has been around since 1958. While the WHO is concerned as the new cases are happening in non-endemic countries like the UK and the USA, it is unlikely that this will mean another two years of lockdown.
Monkeypox endemic countries are: Benin, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Ghana (identified in animals only), Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, the Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, and South Sudan. — Courtesy of WHO.
Of course, conspiracy theorists will say, that Bill Gates always appears to predict what is about to come, like they say when he predicted Covid-19. But the truth is Gates didn’t predict Covid-19.
Yes, as far back as 2015, Bill Gates was warning the world of imminent danger, it was a matter of time before a pandemic as destructive as the 1918 flu pandemic would happen and the world was not ready.
True enough in 2020, when Covid-19 happened, millions died.
Bill Gates was as maligned as Dr. Fauci during the pandemic. Twitter was one of the social media platforms where you would read all the theories about Gates like allegedly, he was the one who released the virus, so he can profit from it or that he was part of the new world order.
As soon as the first vaccines were rolled out, one will not miss a mention of Gates, it was crazy but with all that craziness was the growing resistance of Americans to avail of the vaccine which resulted in more deaths.
This year, Bill Gates wants a global response team that will be our first line of defense in case of another pandemic. And this happened, the monkeypox outbreak, and people can’t stop talking about Gates, they say that the timing is almost clockwork, a coincidence, a prediction, but is it?
Gates has a new book, How to Prevent the Next Pandemic — the interviews, the new TED appearance, and the Reddit AMA are all part of bringing more attention to his book.
There is no denying that he is passionate about finding solutions to the world’s problems and this is only one of them, another is climate change.
Before the monkeypox outbreak, people also blamed the infant formula shortage on him, because Gates invested in a company that would reproduce mother’s breastmilk in a lab.
Yes, another coincidence because Biomilq the company that Gates invested $3.5 million in, will not be producing infant formula any time soon.
Bill Gates has become the voodoo doll of conspiracy theorists, and it seems there is no end in sight for the 4th wealthiest man on the planet.
Final words
Many say that why is it when Bill Gates says something it becomes reality. Far from it, history will show that not everything Gates predicted happened, case in point, the Microsoft Windows phone flopped.
And if that is the case how come these Republicans/Trump supporters/conspiracy theorists are not coming after The Simpsons, when they have accurately predicted the future.
Bill Gates isn’t a guy without sin. His association with convicted pedophile and sex offender the now-dead Jeff Epstein will forever be a scarlet letter he has to live for the rest of his life.
Even his ex-wife made sure that we never forget, as she claimed in an interview Epstein was one of her chief reasons when she filed for divorce. Epstein, whom Melinda Gates calls ‘evil personified’, was more than an acquaintance of Bill Gates, while he calls Epstein simply an error in judgment.
Musk has an army of Twitter minions who support him no matter what, and they can easily amplify any trending topic that makes Bill Gates the bad guy.
The problem with all of the controversies is that it hurts the very causes that Gates is passionate about, health and climate change.
But being hard-headed as he is, Bill Gates thrives in the public attention, like most billionaires whose egos are bigger than their commitment to philanthropy.
Gates is no different and while he is wrongly accused of falsehood, you can’t really come forward to be on his side.
