30 December(ish) Writing Prompts
I’m publishing something here at Medium every day for the next 30 days, feel free to join in or take a prompt and run with it!

I have set myself the challenge to publish once a day for the next 30 days here at Medium. It’s something that always seemed too daunting for me personally, but with reads as thin on the ground as they have ever been (for me anyway!) I figure if not now when? Also I have been in a bit of a writer’s rut lately, this is me forcing myself out of that with a jingle belled boot! I wrote about it more here:
Please feel free to join in, I have created the tag #Christmaswritingchallenge
I KNOW it’s not December yet, we don’t have Thanksgiving where I live in my defense. I am not a great self starter, tend to be a chaotic mess the week before Christmas/know my limits, so I am jumping the gun to make sure I do the damn thing. It’s just a 30 day writing challenge really, start whenever, take a prompt or three or however many you feel like writing!

30. Do you feel the Christmas spirit? Doesn’t have to be religious, whatever it means to you.
These are just a few ideas, not everything I write in my 30 day challenge is going to be holiday related (I don’t think, I was surprised I came up with all of these!), but I thought I would throw some festive prompt ideas into the mix for anyone interested in joining in with the hashtag.
This is just a fun challenge (lol keep telling myself that!) I am setting for myself but if anyone wants to use the hashtag with any of these prompts without doing the 30 day thing please feel free, I could use all the moral support/fun reading I can get!
Also feel free to write using the hashtag with whatever you feel like writing, hopefully they will be holiday season-ish but no worries if not. Hope that makes sense, I am making this up as I go in case it wasn’t stupidly obvious! 😊
If you enjoyed my writing and would like to read unlimited Medium articles please consider joining Medium with my referral link, for which I will receive a portion of the membership fee.
Also gratefully accepting coffees on ko-fi! 😊💗
