If you haven’t heard, the NFL’s Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs gave Patrick Mahomes a $503 million dollar contract extension for ten years. This was the largest contract in all sports surpassing baseball’s Mike Trout’s contract of $426 million with the Los Angelas Angels.

As a sophomore in college, Mahomes gave up baseball to focus 100% on football. This proved to be the right decision for him. He gave up one sport for another to give his all and to be his best.
