3 Ways Of Living A Stress Free Life In This Pandemic

If I ask you what was your reaction when you heard of quarantine for two months? What would be your answer?
Would I be wrong if I say STRESS? No?
It is the only thing that we do when we hear of a serious situation even though we know there is nothing we could do by taking stress.
Unfortunately, we never really notice how that small thing is putting us into so much danger day by day. We all know that severe tension can result in Heart attack and many more serious illnesses, but we just always seem to be ignoring the fact.
Many of the world’s greatest achievers would not have been where they are if they would be taking stress in every little situation. Could you tell me the name of any one person in this whole world, who has not had any ups and downs in his life?
No one from us will be able to answer that question and if someone does say that he has never had any problem in his life, we would never trust him, because everyone has gone through some sort of problems in his/her life.
Time like this, where the whole world has been hit by a virus, that is in no mood to leave this world anytime soon. People are finding it hard to deal with, because of the financial slow down of the world.
Some people are worried because they don’t have the money to pay rent for their apartment. Some are worried about their jobs. Some even are unable to buy food to feed their family.
Everybody is stressed currently, desperately waiting for the pandemic to end to get back to normal again.
To decrease the stress level of people, following are 3 ways through which we can keep our body healthy and mind stress free.
MEDITATION:

“Meditation means the recognition or the discovery of one’s own true self.”
— Sri Chinmoy
Meditation is a very helpful and peaceful way to reduce stress. There is no specific time we can do it. Some like doing it first thing in the morning and some like doing it after a long busy day for relaxation. It is all about forgetting what is in our surroundings and just giving some time of the day to our selves by sitting in a comfortable situation and breathing naturally by closing your eyes.
YOGA:

“Yoga does not transform the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.”
— B.K.S Iyengar
Yoga is something that doesn’t have any specific age to do. Kids follow their parents and parents follow their elders. It not only relaxes our mind but also makes us stay fit in the most beautiful way.
EXERCISE:

“Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment of what you ate.”
— Anonymous
Exercise can be any. It can be a long run observing nature. It can be dancing, cardio, cycling, or anything you are comfortable doing. Exercise is effective because we enjoy doing it and at that time we just forget any of the tensions and we become more agile and that way we start thinking positively.
All the above-mentioned ways are what we have been hearing all our lives, but never care to try.
But being honest, it was Meditation that helped me a lot. My Mom does Yoga and Meditation every morning even Sunday morning and I would always ask her what is it that keeps her going. She would always be doing it and I would be wondering.
So, once I thought of doing it too. I just sat in a comfortable situation, closed my eyes, and started doing it and that feeling was the best feeling I have ever had in my existence.
So, I would suggest everyone to do it and just start living by a Quote:
“Sometimes life doesn’t give you what you want, not because you don’t deserve it, but because you deserve more.”
-VAIBHAV RATHOD .
