3 Traits of Spiritually Wise People
They understand that life isn't all about them

1. They’re Lifelong Learners
The spiritually wisest people know there’s no end to learning. They understand that learning is infinite and there’s always room for more knowledge and wisdom.
They see everything as a learning experience.
A book here. A podcast there. A strange conversation with a random person in line at the store. They would never turn down an opportunity to learn something new, exciting, or out of this world.
They don’t discriminate where they find wisdom.
They learn from the good days and they’ve learned that the bad times also have its wisdom. They learn something when the sky is bright and they know that when the storm comes; it brings lessons too.
They learn from the rich and the riches in the heart of the poor. They can learn from the young and are aware of the wisdom in the mind of the old in years.
They learn from animals; they learn from plants and can even learn a thing or two from the fluidity of water.
They learn from life itself so there’s always something to learn. They see life as a master teacher and themselves as a loyal and faithful student. They're serious about their spirituality and have a very high SQ.
They know it’s better to seek wisdom than riches and so they chose understanding over gold.
Wisdom is a defence, as money is a defence, but the spiritually wisest people have learned that the excellence of wisdom is that it gives life to those who have it.
They see everything as a learning experience. They learn from the good days and they’ve learned that the bad times also have its wisdom.
2. They Are Helpers of The Universe
The more the spiritually wise advance on their spiritual journey, the more they see that this isn’t all about them and their desires. It’s also about other humans. It’s about the animals too. The trees matter and water is life.
They care about their planet and want to preserve all of it. They care about the earth and want to take care of it.
They seek to help all of creation.
They know they have a very important role to play and that’s helping where help is needed. It doesn’t matter who or what needs there. They’re there to offer a helping hand.
They’ll stop and help the sparrow when it falls and break a wing. They’ll help the hungry stray dog with sad eyes. They’ll gladly help the homeless and their left hand would never know what their right hand did to help.
They understand their role as lightworkers and that’s to touch and affect lives whenever they are called to do so.
Being spiritually wise makes them sensitive to the needs and desires of others. Their hearts yearn out to help those in need and their hearts grow bigger every time they help and that’s their satisfaction and reward.
They help through giving. They help by caring for the sick and elderly. They help when they share the little that they have. They help when they pray for the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit. They help when they put smiles on the faces of those missing it.
To them, that’s what life is all about.
After getting to a point where they see things as not merely physical, they know the impact of kindness, love and compassion and they show it from the depths of their hearts.

They have intense focus and concentration on the things that drive them and they stay away from those things that threaten to suck the life out of them.
They’ve learned that it takes discipline to be able to quiet the mind so they can hear the messages that Spirit has for them. It also takes discipline to heed intuition when it’s so easy to disregard the hidden genius.

Bonus Trait — They Act With Wisdom
Spiritual wisdom happens over years and years of learning, and sometimes it comes through pain and suffering.
Nothing makes a person wiser more than pain and that’s the blessing of a life of pain. It blesses you with wisdom.
Spiritually wise people use their wisdom to serve humanity.
They see and understand the universe in a much different way and because of that, people far and near go to them for counsel. They offer insights, a change in perspective, and they advise people against what’s wrong and on what’s right.
No matter what they do, they keep wisdom in view.
They combine all the things they’ve learned in order to make the best decisions and to discern wrong from right.
Despite all the wisdom they’ve accumulated, they are the most humble of people. They know that when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
They give thought to all of their ways and think twice before they act. They’ve mastered how to control their temper and can overlook wrongdoing. They’re fast to let things go when holding on doesn’t serve.
Although they’re wise and give the best advice, they themselves listen to good advice and accept instruction and, in the end; they grow even wiser.
