3 Timeless Hacks To Lose Like a Winner
Even losing has some standards

I live in a town near to red zone. We have frequent light issues. Though we have a generator, sometimes, because of the rain, the generator takes a little break and becomes too proud to feed me with electricity.
Most people tell my father to leave this town. But guess what? Every other town is the same. The only difference rich people make is buying generators and solar panel systems.
It’s almost 12+ hours since my generator expired, and I am left with nothing but a candle. The candle I made with vanilla fragrance and lemon oil. The candle makes me feel good, and just because of this candle, this Noorain-named person hereby declares to have written over 6+ articles in the last 6 hours.
I can be anything you want. But I don’t want to be a loser in the hands of something I am not responsible for. So, today, I lose like a winner.
Here are 3 practical ways to lose like a winner:
1. Have a contingency plan
Having a backup plan means having everything by your side if Plan B doesn’t work. Sometimes Wi-Fi can go off, or the generator might fail. So what can you do?
- Have a pile of books
- Prepare a homemade candle
- Work like it’s your last day on Earth
Have 2–3 backup plans, so you have no reason but to work something out.
2. Don’t kick over the beehive
One of the few things that can happen:
- No books
- No electricity
- No charged laptop
So if that’s the case, maybe reflect on something you wanted to do a while ago and start doing that. Reflect on tasks, maybe make some goals or start writing your article, or meditating. Find solace in every aspect.
3. Start now
The lazier you become, the inferior you sound. So, start now. Don’t wait to align your schedule with the thing you’re not cannot control.
- Start now and regret it later.
- Or regret now and start later.
You have both options to initiate. But remember, an electricity shutdown can happen to anyone. I live near the sea, so things happen to me 10x than everyone. Embrace the problems.
Final thoughts
I was always the child asking my father to move out of the sea town. Views do not help without electricity. Views and fresh air don’t feed us with certainty. But now, embracing the problems, I am the child asking my father never to sell this house.
