Abstract

ora, or receiving The Nobel prize in our respective professions, we are a waste of life. Life is, the everyday and hopefully quarantine has made our minds that little bit more aware of this wholesome truth. We can only do so much each day to ensure that we’re always coming one step closer to our goals, aspirations and overall happiness. Many of us will have resorted to writing to-do-lists to give us a sense of achievement at the end of each day. However, the doing-of-the-things isn’t necessarily what pushes us to growing and bettering ourselves.

Isolation in particular can present little obvious opportunities. However, life has no purpose unless you give it that. As long as something you do today benefits you in one of these three ways, you can rest assured that your daily life is a recipe of productivity leading to success. Whatever that may be for you. What you’ll find is that most days will present themselves with opportunities to achieve the following. 3 Things to Do in Quarantine to Ensure Every Day is Productive

As long as you’re doing one of these three things each day, you are prospering

Most of us have been given an excessive amount of time that we’re definitely not used to. The lack of rushing around our cities from nine-to-fives, to dinner dates and boxing classes, fills us with a sense of purposelessness. The anxiety of having to show something for each day is a struggle. We should always ensure we’re scheduling in designated coping days during these uncertain times of stress. However, there are certain things we can reflect on daily to encourage us to see that something productive can still come out of each day. And when all of this is over, you will have gained, despite not necessarily having written a book or learned a new language.

Society can make us believe that if we’re not taking extraordinary, life-changing trips to Bora-Bora, or receiving The Nobel prize in our respective professions, we are a waste of life.

A rich and prosperous life really isn’t that difficult to obtain.

Happiness, Knowledge and Money. Because what else is there?

Get Rich or Die Tryin’

Have you done something today that has brought you and your family financial benefit? Simply worked at your kitchen table for an eight hour shift? We need money to survive. If you’re keeping it flowing, your day is already a success!

This Makes Me Happy!

Did you take a few hours off to bake birthday cookies and drive them over to your sisters house? Your kids waving frantically through the car windows at their cousins jumping up and down excitedly at the delivery to their door. Their gummy smiles — worth it.

I Learned Something…

Were you stuck on the sofa in the living room that you share with three other roomates listening to one of their insanely boring work meetings? An hour of financial gibberish that you couldn’t even pretend made sense to you. You googled a few unfamiliar words you overhead. Personal vocabulary extended — Pub Quiz general knowledge, game on!

We must take away the pressures of quarantine and instead recognize the value in the things that we already do. You can pretty much categorize most things into benefiting you in one of these three ways. So keep getting smarter, richer and happier!
