It took me 2 years to cover these mistakes.
Blogging Mistakes I made over the 2 years growing my boring blog into a profitable business.
When comes to blogging, there are several things you need to keep in mind that make your blogging journey more successful.
It is all about my personal experience in blogging.
In this post, I’m going to share with you the 3 biggest mistakes I made in my blogging Journey.
First going to the list of mistakes here’s the secret to success in blogging in other words the secret way to make more money with blogging.
At the beginning of blogging, Don’t focus on Affiliate revenue and ads revenue too early It leaves a negative impact on your blogging journey.
Focus on driving more and more visitors instead of applying for Google AdSense over and over again.
Learn how to structure and write a blog post that makes passive income for you.
Here’s my formula to write a money-making blog post.
My Biggest Blogging Mistakes
Blogging is the only business model that can change your life. But make sure never to repeat the same mistake I made in my own blogging journey.
- I Started With Blogger Instead of WordPress.
Choosing the right platforms is more important in order to become a successful blogger.
A Blogger is a Free, Google product that allows you to get a domain name and then start working with it.
On the other side, WordPress gives you more functionality It is an Open source, and It will put you 90% ahead in blogging as compared to Blogger’s platforms.
- No Writing Plan
If you have no writing plan for your blogs then chances are soon you will quit blogging.
Let’s to the things I wish I knew When I started my Blogging Business.
1. Passion is not everything.
It is very trending advice you have heard from other bloggers to “write about passion” and it will be easier for you to monetize it.
Which is great. But the problem is at the same time we have an interest in multiple things,
For example, we love to traveling, we love to play football, and other different things.
And if we start writing on these several topics obviously the results will be a failure.
At that point what do you need to do in order to start a successful blog?
Come into the market with a new business mindset. Look into the market, Used some keyword research tools, Like Ahref Google keyword planner, and do your keyword research
Find gaps and Look for something that other bloggers are missing in their content.
Increase your authority over time.
2. Keep your blog secret.
Don’t tell anybody about your blog, even your friends and family. Because they know nothing about blogging, instead of motivating you they’ll misguide you and you’ll be more likely to quit.
How you can get Visitors to Your Blog?
It is super easy to get some positive feelings by telling your friend about your blog and even the success you have achieved through your blog.
But results may not be the same all the time, ups and downs are part of life one day when you achieved something big and on other days maybe you have lost something more as compared to your previous achievement.
Just focus on creating high-quality and SEO-friendly content for your blog, It is the first key to getting more high-quality visitors from search engines.
Don’t worry about if you’re missing sharing the content of your blog on different social media platforms.
3. Quit social media.
In the beginning, most of we don’t know how to use social media in the right way for our blog as a result we are wasting our important time.
Whats the Questions at that time,
Facebook is a great platform for getting traffic in a very short period of time Pinterest is the second search engine most bloggers are using and they are making even 5 to 6-figure incomes just from free Pinterest traffic.
I 100% agree with that.
But the question is
You Never know how much old they are using all these social media platforms.
maybe 5 years even maybe 7 years.
As a complete newbie, you have no energy to be consistent on all the social media platforms.
The easier will be for you to focus on creating content for your audience and get quality and consistent traffic from search engines.
And ultimately make consistent money through your blog.
However, as a blogger, your focus should be on creating content plus creating user and SEO-friendly content, Link Building Off-page SEO instead of social media.
In other words, how to rank higher in google, and when people search something just for information and even for buying something and they reached your blog that’s the time you are going to make money with your blog.
Stop worrying about you are missing social media traffic and start focusing on how to drive more high-quality traffic from search engines.
When we want to get real information we normally use Google instead of social media,
We have had a strong belief from day one in Google search engines instead of social media.
You save time and you have to create more content for your blog.
Conclusion:
It took me 2 years and I will teach you in less than 5 minutes all the things I wish I knew before starting my blogging business.
