It’s summer, now what? I know it’s tempting to just take the whole summer break, sit down on the beach and do nothing. However, I have a few suggestions for all Computer Science students out there to make their summer more productive and advance their professional careers. I have done these things myself, and I don’t regret them at all. By doing these things during your summer break, you are setting up yourself to land a job after graduation. Not only will you acquire knowledge but you can add these things to your resume and wow your potential employers. So, let’s get started.

Go on a summer internship

Internships are great when you are an undergraduate student. These opportunities serve as a great complement to a students professional development. These summer experiences bring an excellent opportunity to apply the skills you have learned in the classroom. I had the superb opportunity to participate in a summer research program, and I don’t regret it at all.
